Might be controversial to downgrade so hard (also slightly miffed I have to downgrade my first v4 flash). This one will definitely be dependent on hand size i.e. if you're doing cupped hands or hand fist may be a bit harder but not V4 imo, but for me this was two perfect hands. Also the jam is slightly positive and there are nubbins and ribs in the crack to improve the passive aspects of the jam.

On the cliff above this is a really nice looking line starting on the sloping holds sit start and high right heel. Not sure if it has been done as a trad route or boulder. Next time I'm back I'll bring a pad and give it a good shot.

This one was a really nice line took a little bit to figure out the line but has nice mixture of climbing onto a committing exit to headwall. Stay on the left and don't go around the arete

Really liked this line, sit start on the left hand of Bare problem and up left to the hold you use for the left hand of bare but basically have to then go up and left to nice gaston crimp and up the arete on nice small crimps. I think the grade is right but not 100%.

Playing around with lines on the steep face on the right. This line was nice, very easy start into 1 hard and committing move to sloper side pull then throw to large ledge. Did a line to the left as well but barley worth putting up as would be v1 or v0 and ok warm up.

A fun few hours refusing to sit start at the real crag, trying to get stuck in the chimney, creating a more wholesome variant finish to the route called 'not a club trip', going to annoy all of the real boulderers, then coming back up here to muck around in the chimney some more. The boys and their chicken wings.. sometimes you just cant get in the way. great to see the gang getting wide!

A few more hours on this tonight, changed the start to just of that left hand as a cleaner start. Ed unlocked the beta for me and then just working to moves slowly backwards. Really awesome problem with a bit of everything. Just grunted through it right at the end of the night. With the beta i think v7 but open to all other suggestions.

In my opinion this was a better line, i eliminated the pinch of the v5 so you have to match the roof crimp and then throug up to the left instead. if you still use the pinch and go left they are the same grade.

Really cool problem should have got the flash but faffed about on the face and ended up sliming of a hold.i though was a good crimp. then took a bunch more shots to finally get it again. not a style i have done alot off so no idea on the grade, fun compression is all i know and will come back on a nicer day/night and try to do it a bit nicer.

This was my Favorite send for the night, had to oull the jug off after James got it as he found it was loose will affect some of the others slightly but still a good crimp instead of the jug. Cool crimps and then big moves

Hard sequence at bottom followed by easy finish. Work your feet and body tension to get this one finished. An overall fun/punchy climb.

Tried to follow a crimpy undercling line which felt around V5 but I had about 4 holds explode on me so definitely be cautious as it can be quite sandy (as most coastal crags are). I think I found the right holds to use to make this a V5 but oh well, it's a nice novelty crag where the beach is the highlight and the climbs are a nice bonus!

Sunbather gave us the stink-eye and left once we rocked up for this boyo. Classic movement and strong fingers required. Harder than Blockaholic but not as hard as Red Tide. Must-do of the area along with the aforementioned.
