Good rock and actual pro, not bad for a sea cliff

Nice lead at the grade.

Nice smeary, fingery between BR 1 and 2. Overhang at top also a good challenge.

The first pitch is absolute choss. The second pitch is one of the better Sydney sea cliff routes I have climbed. Maybe best rap into bunker

Ovefnight stealth mission

Got racked and pumped up but was singularly discouraged by the Acoylte's apprehension that the only possible means of ascent to avoid disturbing stacked sheets of honeycombed cheese was "by waving your hands". Added to which a displeasing #mankycarrot on the headwall, observed to be sticking out a good 2 inches in the old measure, and bent downward to boot, cast a thin shadow of deep uncertainty over the proceedings.

Looked good, but too hard to pull up on a slopy thing and a crimp with zero for the feet. Great lumps obviously torn off by previous ascentionists, with more possible.

First pitch was pure choss. Second pitch was great climbing for Sydney sea cliffs!

Did the broken corner variation, about grade 10, as no block anchor above cracks. Could lead if one wanted to, but does not seem much point.

Pity about the ledge

Very thin start then easy sustained climbing. The variant finish is much easier than E, but is more run-out without the standard route's top bolt.

Pretty cool, stiff slab at the bottom but that’s just slabs I guess.

Getting to first carrot felt a bit committing

Nice lay back move to get off the ground, then super crimpy holds! I also half squished a spider in a cobweb covered hold... obviously this isn't a super popular climb?!

Good first or second climb for a beginner leader.

The cam placement mentioned in the guide looked pretty flakey to me, which is a great pity because this line has all the makings of a total classic. Oh, for a bolt!
