Pretty fun and cool climbing. Decent climbing for the grade.

Went up to belay Danie. First time belaying from chains, and first time sailing (to get back down).

Retreat for injury - something (lizard? Plant?) spat in my eye.

Crux is not well protected, risk of decking are high if you mess up the sequence

First pitch is interesting while the second gets really spicy. Not a lot of good gear and dirty top part

How to protect? Solo?

Scary fall right at the chains.

Climbed to end of third pitch, and absailed back down.

if gandalf is a 24, I would see this one going down as a 25

Scary one. It'll be a while before I'd consider leading it.

Def harder for me than the other 19s at the crag. Pumpy, bouldery crux. Feels not like a 20 forme

wasps just beneath the anchor in the crack to the left

Possible wasp nest in the open book I would not put it down to a 14. More like a 16-17

To me, harder than its neighbour Gangalf grade 24. I agree with the 25 given in the guidebook.

Fell on the rope at the crux, rope burn. Flashed up to that point, then took a few attempts to get past, but did not manage

Linked pitch 1 + 2

Seconded pitch 1 of Dennis the Menace (19) clean, then rested on gear while leading pitch 2 of Gnasher. Rested right at the bottom crux, then climbed all the way to the top without any further hanging.

we were off route and missed the crux, but climbed 4 short pitches and abbed down in 3.

Fun route, grade is sandbagged, or I'm terrible at route-finding 🤣

The bolts are horrible, no idea of how to climb the route.

Wouldnt recommend. Fun moves but badly bolted with a high risk of decking without an attentive belayer. Lots of loose rock from the last 3 bolts. Wear a helmet! Is also extremely run out in some sections, where a loose rock or a slip will most likely end in the climber decking. Epic finish if you can somehow find a handhold that doesnt break in the middle sections.
