thanks ado! pat did 1st & 4th, i led 2nd/3rd together. finally something in the shade, excellent jams up a beautiful wall in an amazing position. doesn't get much better!

fun in the sun!

first climb of the trip. slid of the thin spoogey top on the onsight, was going to come back for it but tooooo damn hot to climb anything!!!!!!

at night with felly. excellent.

w/Dave Isaac. led 1st & 4th, stellar!

freakin awesome! my first decent trad lead, and what a line!!! ran the pitches together

with monteith. scrambled 1st pitch, monty led 2nd & 4th, but i got the long & awesome 3rd pitch.... sweeeeet 20m chimney/handcrack/fingerdrack to a rooflet & airy (slightly commiting) couple of face moves. then another 20m of NO gear and llloooooosssse rock, vertical mud, pine needles etc. (crampons might be useful?) semi hanging belayed of a couple shrubs. last pitch is a bit of suspect rock quality too, but not too bad & overall a great outing!!

in high seas makes it more fun yee harrrr....didnt exactly do ice 9, started by traversing out right over the water, then straight up about grade 16 slab pitch with one bit of gear, then 2nd pitch a factastic 2-tiered corner hand crack system with a (about 18?). led 1st pitch, Dani led 2nd pitch. matan came along for the ride too.

with 3 bolt plates in pissing down rain. yeehaa

mmm, muddy wet sandy cracks, i love it

2 bolts under the roof- pulling the lip is the hard part, then the rest is CRUISEing on good natural pro

started off up the crack using only natural placements, then realised i was making it hard for myself, downclimbed, and went up the right way on the carrots

fun in the dark.

not bad at all...for a slab! a couple offset wires help to protect the first half, then run it out some bomber small/medium cams up higher.

w/JJ, doctors said 'no climbing' but its not really climbing if you're seconding right? well after i did this i started having nose bleeds (aparently from sickness = low platelet count or something) so JJ wouldnt let me do 'in lemon butter'

my first ever araps climb- solo & in dunlop volleys, the way it SHOULD be

2nd & 3rd pitches are funktastic! bring your XL-gonads for the excellent smearing runout on the 2nd pitch, and lose some weight for the 20m deep squeeze chimney on the third

what is it with me & hand-cracks? o/s solo in hiking boots!! climbing was fun & felt locked in but started stressing a bit at the top cus of some friable rock... great fun anyhow

rad corner crack, did w/Kaz...went to lead out on the 2nd pitch and fell off! i am soft

fantastic crack! took a preetydcentwhipperontoa med.wire that i was sure would pop, but it held fast- and its still there!

haha! dodgy feeling in my gut the whole way, but persisted. onsighted to the last draw, but couldnt risk it any longer. lowered off and ran for the bushes in a hurry...

led 1st & 3rd, w/spinksy. go the retro outfits!! was falling out of my shortshorts though, sorry for the view aaron

night ascent with andy & stoney. not to self: bring a headtorch next time.

if it was 27 pitches longer, it would be a grand adventure- at 8m its a worthless pile of choss.

direct start is better. did it with dad seconding...lots of fun!
