Great! Bit of down climbing and working out gear.

Stick clipped the fixed hanger, I assume that's what it's there for... Really enjoyable climbing. Climbed from down below the 'jump' jug. Trusted the manky bolts, but there's good gear, so probably should have placed some.

Slightly thin long reaches, but a very cool position.

Felt a lot harder than it used to be, I'm out of practice.

Just as good as Ethereal. Committing up the start, then gets even more awesome.

Great climb, placed lots of little brass RPs and offsets.

So much fun, until it gets thin up top and I forgot how to use my feet, or small holds, or just climb in general.

So not used to trade.

oooof. Such a good climb, that just keeps going and going and going. I could really feel my lack of endurance, and got a little desperate in a couple of spots, but managed to hang in there and keep going.

Such good placements (5 cams and 10 wires), such good rock, such good movements.

Was made rather more epic by bringing the kids in. And there was still some small patches of snow on the track up to the top. Glorious sunny weather.

Brilliant climbing in a spectacular location. The orange upper section of the wall is superb. Rather pumpy also.

Rescuing some gear that was left behind after the incident with the tree.

Felt hard, must be tired from yesterday.

Pretty dodgy rock in places, but lovely climbing. I chickened out left from the stance, couldn't get a decent mastercam in the pocket, and wouldn't have trusted the rock if it had.

Awkward, and I didn't like the gear. Not a great warm up. Just climb Cheops instead.

Awesome climb, awesome gear, fun descent. Should be a classic. Started up the arrete to the left.

For some reason I expected this to be a doddle. It was both better and far more sustained than I expected.

Put the draws on for Cam, leaving the 2nd bolt clipped. Didn't bother going to the top, lowered off the top bolt. Clean to the jug.

Super super fun. Couldn't stop laughing through the top cave. Must do.

With Anthony. Loved it, but felt very very tired the whole way. Extra excitement was added by bumping out the nut I placed below the hard moves at the top.

Awesome. Plenty of great holds to rest on. Found a thread to lessen the excitement at the top.

A couple of reachy moves, but felt pretty easy.

Awesome! Started up Wailing Cockatoo, then OS P3 and P4. P4 was one hard move, but easy in general. P3 was harder and more sustained.

Pitch 1 only. Soloed up to the tree, then led the lovely crack and short slab above. Brilliant weather, sunny and windy and cool, and super fun placing some good gear.

Lots of fun, good warm up.

What can I say, I love aretes. Really cool bit of climbing to get the heart racing.

Also got to watch an enormous (half a car) boulder tumble down 100m away, pretty scary.

Equal hardest trad onsight. Felt like 23, not 24 to me. Almost ran out the entire hand traverse, but better judgement shouted up from the ground convinced me otherwise.

Hard moves off the ground, but then it gets better.

Lead both pitches. Amazing and scary.

Second climb on Taipain. Lovely.

Brilliant climbing. Little bit steep.

Glad I know how to jam. Great to place some gear.

End of the day romp. Love this climb.

Great climb, but I didn't feel good. You can use big gear (#4 BD), but don't need it. would be safe with a couple of #1 and #2s. Also, very ashamed that we'd left the hexes in the car.

Varied and slightly adventurous. Great! Two ropes and extenders were a must. Climbed in from the left, skipping the direct start.

End of the day, felt epic, wasn't pretty, hung on and still got it clean.

More pumped placing gear than doing the climbing. Super fun.

Inspired by the recent wide boyz film, had to get my offwidth on and break in the big cams I bought earlier this year. Solid fight, but came out ahead. Two #5 and two #6 cams, and jeans kept it friendly. Utterly exhausting.

A fun outing. Mostly good rock, with a few exciting runouts. Went to the top of the mountain for a lark.

Still loving aretes! Delicate and awesome. Much nicer finish than Cock Corner.

Really fun. Great gear, then interesting moves past the bolts.

Two rests. Old school! Is very exhausting. Sandbagged myself, it's definitely not a 20.

Still brilliant. But much easier than I remembered. Had to use wires on a few carrots...

Ledgy, but, whatever. Gets you up there.

Not great, easily past some U bolts, then up the head wall past some more. Much easier and not as good as AHC.

Amazing! Flash attempt placing gear. Ran out of oomph near the top. Next time, maybe.

Enjoyable. Worth doing. Would make a good warm up. Rap chains on the ledge at the top.
