unless I've got the wrong understanding of where this climb is, 22 seems a little heavy handed. Wasn't it graded a 19?

FINALLY! landed middle dyno first try. Such a good climb, went for another lap without resting in the cave.

Very good, very wet after a rain shower! One of the classic Shire 21’s and should be part of every local climbers progression syllabus!

I hate this climb, the quality gets progressively worse the higher you go. Got spit off the upper crux but I have her figured out now.

Way back when...

So many dynos, so much foot cutting, had to dial in the throw through the second crux. It reminds me of a harder version of "welcome to the body shop".

Gets progressively easier, except for clipping the high carrot. After topping out, downclimb to the Aarvark anchors and rethread.

Nice to be able to tick this as a red point now. Couldn't do it clean last time I was here. Did it in my own special way.

Put half the draws on. Maybe if I was a super strong, massively powerful short climber, I might have a chance but without the 'super strong' & 'massively powerful', I'm only left with 'short' & this is not a climb for those that are just that. Fun trying though.

Definitely not a 22. Great moves for a 19, pity it is so short. Easier than the 17 next to it.

Um, so I have never even onsighted a 22 let alone a 23. I was just suddenly through the moves. Some may call it soft but I don't care - there was not a single bit of chalk on it so not easy. Didn't use the crack. Really great moves but not long enough.

I feel like I may have been on this previously but haven't ticked it. So I'll claim the onsight. Interesting start but that's all.

More awkward, scary Shire climbing. Maybe not an ideal warm up. I grovelled my way through the whole to Not be able to do the last move. No time for a 2nd go. I considered not logging a dog on a 19 but that seemed silly. Will I get back on?
