攀登 in White Linen Wall

Fell 3 or 4 times at the top crux working out some feet, heel hook worked but killed me trying to release it going for the cut, heel kept dragging and taking my power. In the end toe on the big hold instead of the heel worked way better

Had to come back after falling off the top last time. First lap to brush and check beta on the top jugs.

Sent confidently on the second lap! Awesome! First 27.

Managed to do both cruxes today. Stocked! Time to start linking

Instead of clipping the 5th bolt I whipped, that was an exciting whip

went right at the crux, still taking 27, cry about it

Short session after work, banned from even looking right at the top supposedly, left is the OG.

1. Beta lap, been a while, skipped the start, no falls.

2. First red point, fell after the second crux, out of steam.

3. Fell second crux on last move, didn’t go far enough with left hand.

4. Probably a bit rushed, not that much rest, fell after the crux AGAIN! Hit the jug by the last clip with only 3 fingers and 1 pad.

Nice one. First try with great beta from Marty, but I think I've tried Temptation before years ago so guess it's not a flash.

Non aesthetic, short, skin shredding/sharp, only plus side is the moves out right are cool otherwise just a stupidly small crimp ladder left. Why did I get on this twice? I'm stupid is why, I thought it might have gotten nicer, alas no it was still trash.

Had a blast working this out. First attempts I got confused whether I wanted to head out left or right after the 3rd draw. Worked out the moves going out right but ended up sending going direct. Both great fun

Found a beta which works in the crux this time around, just need to link the first few moves, psyched

Not worth doing really

Skipped lower crux keen on warming up and testing overworked, under rested fingers. Second crux went first try so naturally spent ages trying to work out what the heck I did to make it work. Upper steepness held no unpleasant surprises.

Faced reality and committed to working the first crux dynamically, unexpectedly both sticking the move and enjoying it too.

Try not to stand in the oozing muddy goop challenge (difficulty: impossible). Lower crux dialled and repeatable.

Training goal is to develop self-control and not obliterate my body in the week before a mountains trip.

Next session to focus first on deciding on which of ~3 betas to use for the second crux before attempting to link both.

Another sick 30, love the beta feet first and keep turning (360 degrees), probably harder.

Close off the weekend off.

Figured out a way to do it… after about 25 attempts at the crux. 😂 Too cooked for the send but could go in another sesh or two.

Keen to jump back on this! Skin destroying and punchy with some bouldery moves throughout the climb.

Once you work it out it's not too bad, ignore the chalk out right probably off orginal route. From the jug do a right drop knee on the right of the rail right hand up to crimp above the draw then left foot over to jug and then you can grab the really good crimp rail up left easy peasy

Cool moves, not as crazy hard as I thought, but just feels sharp with dead fingers and no skin. Maybe goal for next bluies trip

Punted the end dyno on headwall on third go, went downhill after that! Repetitive clean through first three bolts and punting the next dyno. Condies be fugged

Re-acquainted, changed beta and refined the moves, stuck the 4 - 5th clip dyno and got it down to one sit, should go at some point!
