攀登 of Rain Of Terror

Nice pitch. Straight into it though with some gravelly dolerite face holds.

Surprisingly not that terrifying.

Quite a nice opening pitch to the mega adventure. Might be easiest to continue all the way to the col. We used the wide crack 4m right of the low anchor which is reasonable if you still have a #4 #3 #1 cams.

Tried a climb 30m to the left thinking it was this, so chossy that the cam I placed, broke the crack as soon as my fingers were off the trigger. Then found this Lil number, and climbed it with brown pants. Movement was kinda dope tho.

Don't walk t0o far/ step over the fallen tree because you will walk past the first pitch of the approach

Honestly didn’t love this pitch

Bit of poor rock so it's smart to protect the start well incase a face hold breaks. Pleasant warm up along the way.

Still great climbing but not as good as Jihad

Actually found this climbed better than Jihad. A nice varied hand crack

Good line on the approach to an exiting adventure!

Pretty wet at the start, nice climbing though.

Enjoyed this more than I thought I would

Undesirable weather turned us back after this first pitch on the way to pole dancer. A big mission for 1 mediocre pitch but was good to get some bearings for next time

Scrambled up and finished with a mantle to the ledge at base of a hand crack. I'm pretty sure we somehow just skipped some of this pitch by scrambling up steep on the left hand side, and then extended the "jihad pitch" which just seemed like the obvious thing for us at the time. Geared up on the ledge and jammed up the hand crack then trending left, for 40-45m, passing a set of rings) ((which may have been the top anchors of "rain of terror )) but it worked out real good for us.

Heaps of fun if you find the right climb!

The rock at the base breaks easily in your hands and under your feet. Be careful in each move.

Climbed the face two meters right of corner instead very nice.
