This is the tower deep in the south end of the gorge. It is not a popular climbing area, although a few routes have been recorded. People should be warned that buffalo are often found in this area.
Climbs have been done on the other buttresses here but insufficient information is available to give details. One was on the buttress right (round from the road) of El Barta, on the side facing it, and another was on the steep face on the opposite side of the buttress. The wall behind El Barta has also been climbed to the cave. High on the gorge wall opposite El Barta is a line of good rock about 30 m high where the easiest line, Very Difficult, was taken to reach the summit of the wall.
