Ascents of Blind Justice

Probably the best route at Camels, for fun, adventurous, mixed trad. It has 3 parts all good.

It seems too easy for a 16, but it's a good route.

Had no guide book or phone and didn’t know what this route was, but liked the look of it, saw the bolts and didn’t realise it was a mixed route. Climbed past the bolts then went up and around the arete to the left, realised it must be mixed but continued looking for the anchor, (climbed way past it) then down-climbed to lower off the top bolt. Had some very nice moves.

Always a good repeat. Walked off the top and did a second route up the lhs of the Omega Block.

Whoopsy. Went up over the overhang and to the left, big runout for me with only a single jesus-wire protecting me. Don't make my mistake and keep your eyes on the anchors to the right, not the left! Fun climb.

Stick-clipped first bolt as lower section was damp and desperate. Also did the route properly as the first time I missed the belay and started heading up the final pitch of One Hump or Two.

Nice small technical bit for the crux; the 'funky move'.

Skipped the anchor and belayed from the next ledge up for an easy walk out.

Enjoyable. Def need some wires to compliment the bolts.

Fun easy climbing, with only the crux over rooflet at the grade.

Note to self: don't forget it finishes up high and takes gear.
