Ascents of In The Wake

Word going round is right hand 4 finger pocket undercling and left hand up higher on the knobby feature to start. Pretty fun.

I did something. Felt impossible to pull off the underlings to start without using the the extra rock right underneath as a foot which sort of felt like cheating a bit. Maybe a foot hold is missing at the start or I'm just weak I don't know? Still cool the way I did it but maybe a grade or 2 easier with the extra rock in. Anyone know?

For additional V grade miss the pads and patch up new anus with metolius climbing tape

Was good when v5 and starting from pebble and low pocket compression. Low starts becomes an eliminate, much easier to just climb through the face. But bummed.

Did the start from prebble and pocket version, was more in the v5 range, beta in video makes this much harder

Love it. Big spans for me but there are lots of other options for moves. Option for a low sit start would probably add a grade
