Ascents of French Revolution

Mantle felt very hard, need to work the beta some more.

Second go for the day, sent it very cleanly. I think the moves on this climb are physically more difficult than Snatch and Grab. Feels like a slight sandbag.

Seems like last time I couldn't do the mantle because my fingers weren't strong enough to hold the side crimp. Went okay this time, though it was a bit balancy and I was a little bit freaked out haha. Messed up the lower crux into the big pocket.

I got up to the mantle on my first attempt. Up to that point the climb was very technical and delicate but not strenuous. It felt like a 20 until the mantle, which felt like a V4 move. I could not get over it no matter how hard I tried.

Was going offroute and returning felt scary/hard. Found the move just after that. Not hard to execute, just failed to read properly

Probably easy for the grade. A fun move to the first large pocket

Still a bouldery little crux

Hadn't been on this for probably 30 years. Still a good route.

Worked the moves on this at the end of the day but had no gas left for a send

Solid Crux, proper try hard noises. Good fun.

After watching Tom on the crux of this I was really doubting that I'd get this clean. Thank goodness for shitty intermediate holds to avoid moving dynamically:)
