Ascents of Fingernickin'

Pitch 1 only

P1 only. Screwed the OS with a pesky footslip. Such a quality route that would be at home in any go-to crack climbing area. Should be noted that end of P1 is a double ring rap, not what the guide book suggests.

P1 only, flash on Emil's gear. An amazing and intimidating looking overhanging crack, which actually climbs a lot easier than it looks. I went for the hideous, scrappy, burlfest approach rather than a stylish ascent, relying on my strength rather than poise for the ascent... but it worked

Fantastic way to escape the heat - though some would say 'out of the frying pan and into the oven'. This route will cook you well and truely! 1st pitch only.
