Ascents of Grand Junction as various tick types

Amazing climb, it flows up the bolts with some very nice cruces and some super cool moves. Had it so close on 4th go but wasn't enough. Super happy to have done it with one rest on first day at it Definitely coming back to it soon.

First time trying this one, went ok in first half, got a bit tired in the second half. All the moves seemed ok, but need to refine and change sequences a little. Fun 😊

Draws were on. I was told it was harder and better than supercal. Yep.

Tired EOD rip went pretty well, but got a bit frazzled when I forgot the hand/foot order of my sequence for going left after the flake. Really like this, keen to get back on it.

Fell off the last hard move on my first attempt on this in a couple of years, and then was too fatigued for my next go. Such great climbing with two technical crimpy crux sequences.

Great climb! No showstopping move on a 26 for me!

5th session. One move at the top is not really getting easier with repetition while everything else is. Super frustrating as if I had 2cm more reach, could get it from a stable position. Probably not strong/tall enough for it this season.

Fourth session. Good news that the top was dry. Bad news that it was harder than I remembered. New high point from ground (hit RH pocket but badly, one move from lie down rest). Also linked from rest(ish) break to anchor once but could not repeat, too tired?

Third session. Top was a waterfall, bottom was only moist so decided to give that a go. Tried to link ground to laydown break, made it to the weird gaston move after traverse before tearing a hole in my finger. Guess it was a little too moist.

Second session. Refining beta/optimising draw lengths. Didn’t hang around too much thanks to hurricane winds. Favorite beanie almost ended up down in the valley 😅

So many cool moves on this one. Sidepull heel hooks, a thumbdercling move on slab, there’s even a rare deep two finger pocket. Felt more flowy and less desperate than Supercal. One to come back to

Loop was busy so this became the warm up. Very enjoyable.

Dare I say better than Supercal? Much more varied and sustained climbing, super super enjoyable. Sadly didn't have quite enough juice left for the end of day send, close though

Pretty sure I got all the moves this time except for maybe the thin techo traverse.

Only one go at the end of the day just to see the route. I'll be back for sure with good rested fingers.

Interesting climbing the whole way. Pretty thin crux at about half-height. Easily as good as supercal, not as crazy but a lot more pumpy.

Was going well until I knocked my glasses off halfway up. The top was a bit of a blind fumble...

Fell at the top on my third shot, what a punter! Full value, maybe better than supercal??

Rad, sorted everything out. Had 2 burns this time in some daylight and a lot of wind. The bad crimps feel good when cold - noted.

First night climbing ever. This route has plenty of awesome moves in it, feels like it'll be much easier when I can see where to put my feet. Psyched

Wowza, really cool, very on for quite a while. Need to fine tune and clean up a couple bits. Mega route.

Draws up and 3 more shots. Great conditions, no excuses other than this is hard. One of my favourites at Shipley even though it's becoming my nemisis.

A much more enjoyable outing. Had an alright onsight burn but came up short in the crux, and I doubt I would have gotten to the top anyway. V good.

2 attempts. Got all the moves. Some judicious use of the stick clip after taking the crux whip on the first attempt.

fell off up high and hit the cave on the way down.... stitches both shins! Not worth the trouble for me.
