Ascents of Tropical Thunderbirds

Combines the best of two lines.

First time trying this route. Links two cruxes together, and makes the Gas Rain crux seem like a real struggle!

Hungover, so fought up TT. Managed the crux of it...ALMOST. Ahh, this is gonna be hard!

2 shots today with JJ. Manged to do the crux of TT, after taking the whip several times before. Then climbed through the crux of Gas Rain.

Two shots. Found a better way to do TT, but not to sure it will work well on the link. Super greasy today unfortunately, no progress made.

Two shots. Second shot I ALMOST stuck the crux of TT, but left hand pealed and I took a spinning whipper. Very disorientating.

So close today! Not feeling overly well, but for the first time since ticking TT I got through the crux, and across to GR. Got excited, and rested up in the kneebar for as long as my legs would allow and then continued the journey. Battled through GR crux.....just....and made a small mistake, stuffing up a good kneebar near the anchor. Did the second last move badly, cut loose, put feet back on and my hand slipped....Second last hold.................NOOOOOOO!!!!!

Two shots. Firstly had to put draws up, as no one is projecting it at the moment. Second shot I fell off staring at the anchor.......Not bad for 4 months away from coolum! The rock was wet and greesy too. Should get it next time.

What a pumpy one! Super fun and happy to do it with less than optimal conditions on the left side. But not sure how this gets 29, big reset before gasoline crux.
