Ascents of ...Or the Railway

I know I shouldn’t be on something like this with my back but the conditions are so good right now, I just wanted to see what it would feel like. So much friction!!! I still came off at the usual two moves but the rest were so good. X4. Last lap, the finger flared up so I cleaned it.

(3). Finger injury is actually getting worse. I think my projecting is over for this trip. Cleaned the gear off.

X5. Tweaking some moves. Feeling a bit unfit and weak but I’ve still got a few weeks up my sleeve.

Ok so not quite taking it too easy but... top roping, so kinda restful?? Trying to remember the moves. Had it so wired last year but luckily I took notes. Just got to remember the nuances.. only 2 shots as I’m feeling the fatigue of a lazy injured week.

The weather predictions don’t look good so got the draws down today. At least I can do all the moves and clip all the bolts. Next year.....

1st to put up 2nd reworked crux over and over. Falling repeatedly in one place but less in others. 3rd shot I was useless...

(3) felt like I went backwards but it was super spoogy. Fingers kept pinging out of the crux move crack.

Woah! Linkage. Falling at two points now instead of after every second one. Easy but tiring to get past the first pitch. Two points on the second. Linking it all together will be interesting. Only about 3m of madness... (3)

(4) can now do all the moves. About 4 that I need to do in a row though....

Spent a bit on this one, worked out the moves. Would need at least another couple goes before the RP I think. Stout, thin, tweeeeky.

Extension to My Way up the twin, leaning, overhung fingercracks will see your fingers and shoes working at full steam.
