Ascents of Double Shot Espresso

Yeah really good climb. Small crimps around the 3rd and then backs off until the 7th near the end of the traverse left. A few more tough moves and then backs off for the finish. 2nd 24 for me so really enjoyed it when it was done.

After a couple of false starts and a good rest in the middle made it clean.

Pumpy moves after the dicky traverse. Took 1 fall and pulled off a brick sized hold near the top that got the heart pumping. All in a days work at Dreamtime,

The first half is really good face climbing. Second half and crux is pinch city. Loose rock galore keeps you on track and stops you venturing too far left around the arete.

End of the day shot just to feel the holds. Nearly got it on sight and frankly, this is the best route around here. Solid rock the entire way, genuine gymnastic climbing movement down low, then pump and arm management for the next 20m on good quality rock. Loved it. 3 stars.

First ascent. A sustained and pumpy climb. Solid rock up high on the buttress if you stay in the line.
