P2 might have been my favourite pitch of the trip! decent gear throughout despite initial trepidation. except the one run out bit

slab city, had a good feeling about double #.5 and #.75 and it was nice having them

just good clean fun. good times walking off in darkness with one headtorch and no directions and hayden freshly arrived from brissy

Hectic - Most scared i was this weekend, and i was on second

its a wonderful day to be alive

last morning of the trip as the sun rose

we wanted to check out the pillars of hercules so considered this an access pitch, but it was pretty cool in its own right

linked 1+2, which was pretty sane. the #5 was fairly essential to make P3 sane, and the #6 was nice to have for P4, although you could make do without and just have a slightly spicier time. absolutely glorious upper pitches

followed all pitches for a mental rest day. lovely and cool on a hot day. that finish...

3rd day of climbing in the bungles and our third peak! walking up to it, you feel it a bit intimated but the climbing is joyful and the rock is solid. top of P3 was an absolute delight and definitely makes into my top 10 belay positions

started up at 7am, finished around 530pm. we managed to pick the starting line well which felt a bit lucky. thoroughly enjoyed the techy choose your own adventure of pitch 1. P2 definitely had spicier moves than P1. P4 was a highlight for me, it felt like that was when the bungles tradventure I'd been promised truly began. only beta I have to share is to not go R off the belay on P6. awesome day out with the wall to ourselves, sparrows, sunshine, abundant hanging belays and a lovely sunset to end it

was inspired to get on this again after watching glen take the inaugural whip on the #7

not sure which i frothed on more - this gorgeous crack or sharing the froth of it w my pals

lovely day out, with a bit of everything. worked it takes ~2hours from home to the bottom of pierces pass. highlights were definitely P1 and P6. P10 is a nice top out actually, glad we did the full value option. all clean except a few rests to work out beta on P1

such a wild ride! Absolute must do

the culmination of many years of aspiration. and it delivered! its incredible to have so much sustained climbing at the grade. despite the bad omens of the dirt road to perry's being closed, and the rain drops that sprinkled on the windshield on the way over, this ended up as really nice day out, trying hard and getting spanked but occasionally also doing some justice to the cool sequences. 9.5 hours car to car, including 6km of walking on dirt roads, and taking it pretty easy. P5 was very thin, thanks to the person who slung some rope around one of the cruxy draws to extend it to a sane level for an average height person!

man what cool climb! pitch 3 is one of the funnest pitches ive lead at the grade. the belay ledges for pitch 1 and 3 are fairly average, and having spent a fair bit of time at them in a party of 3, would probs link 1+2 and 3+4 if i did it again

a joyful warm up lap

don't really know what to call this ascent... half pink, half onsight, 100% snake-mouse induced fall. 40% terrible warm up. 35% pump-induced whimpering while trying to place nuts on jugs. if none of this makes sense then I have conveyed my experience of this climb
