Ascents as Onsight, Greenpoint onsight, Top rope onsight or Onsight solo by Macciza a.k.a. Macca

Maybe La Petite Course would be more appropriate… though it is grand with a little bit of almost every crack size in its short length… Stout start that quickly eases, good fun …

Pretty sure I did this back in the day and probably on sight so will tick repeat as such ... Gear is fine,if not optional at start, same with directional in roof if placed... certainly does not need any extra bolts, will fix description...

Lovely alpine womble made all the better due to moistness.... if only I’d had my mountain boots instead of blown out approach shoes ...

Late start but direct approach and we just managed to fit the summit and descent in ...bit of a long day all up ...

Did some variant pitches in the upper half as the phone had run out so we had to just make it up... looking back at the description we definitely weren’t on line for a while there but ended up in roughly the right the spot and summited ...

Bit of a long day but mostly mild climbing ..great view and some great position, some interesting rock in parts ...

Got a bit high on the way to the East Face so figured we would continue to the top then downclimb the South Gully ...

Of course we had our packs with double rack and double ropes, etc and I was in mountain boots ... great fun, great views ...

A few options for shorter harder trad around too ...

Easiest way out after looking at some other routes in the area ... well, ok there is a 9 but it's R rated ... and my approach shoes are blown out ...

Wasted a bit of energy getting bogged down at the start but managed to sort it in the end and settled down into the climbing without having any real worries about gear .. Stuck it out to the end for the OS...

Prob only 35 m as yet again we simul-rapped on a 70m to get down.

Hmm... approached straight across from Breadknife track and in the end it looks like we did a bit of a variant maybe whilst thinking it was TT ...

Headed up the relatively clean rock to the right of the gully after the approach slabs and then across to the base of final corner ...

The final corner is a bit thrutchy particularly with a pack and a bit exposed but not too bad in the end ...

Simulrapped down Abseil Gully, which looked like an easier solo ... will have to get back soon to solo the actual original Tourist Traverse ...

Fun afternoon all the same....

Classic team mini-adventure style ascent ... bit drizzly and misty to start the day... approached via High Tops track and animal tracks etc direct to base and soloed first three pitches in approach shoes ...

Got Zac to take the single 7mm twin rope up due to conditions whilst I got my proper shoes on ... i eventually followed as the rope ran out... I ended up sticking mainly to the rib, only went right briefly at horn into corner and crack then stepped back R onto rib, whilst it seems Zac went up crack... not sure if either version was strictly 'correct' as per description or grade....

I then swung through .. i think we tied in with the rope doubled, and we simul-climbed to the top in one push...

We then signed logbook etc and promptly barrelled down the wrong gully and continued regardless to a short downclimb that put us on track... we simul-abseiled the final 2 sections and walked off.... and headed back via the correct track from Dagda Saddle...

Will make a good solo in better weather... at least things had cleared along the way so we could head back to camp for a break before heading to solo Belougery in the arvo...

Greenpoint onsight! 'No Dick, seriously...' Apart from retro bolting the original where rings are clearly unnecessary the rest of it climbs easily and can be adequately protected. More bolts that need pulling ...

Despite there being carrots on the line I went with a trad only ascent as I was wearing approach shoes. Not too bad if done like that, and good route finding reveals all the holds needed to keep it at the grade ....

Not quite the 50th Anniversary ascent but we're getting close. Must have been a classic back in the day. still holds its own imho though lots more pro available with modern gear. Climbed as one pitch in approach shoes. Would be an even better experience if done with old school gear and mountain boots ... Classic.

Would recommend going straight up the chimney rather doing the weird traverse shenanigans ....
