Ascents as Tick as boulder by Sam May

Went a bit off route to the right using the pockets at V3/V4, but went straight through the roof. Shaking afterwards!

Great stuff! Easier if you take the footholds near the ground as in.

Took me a couple of sessions, and some actually good boulderers have also been seen flailing on this, so at least V3 I reckon.

Bit sandy, but the arete holds are subtle and the topout is very thought provoking.

Fun enough little feature. Probably hard to find again, but just go to the Blackberry boulders and keep on going up the ridge.

Even the easiest way up is a little tricky!

It's really a very large boulder! Chilling out on the top after a big day exploring Goat Dome.

Start with both hands in the lower left crack for an great harder problem.

I think this is what we climbed. Top out is fine, but have a spotter waiting on the top just in case! Classic Sydney sandstone highball. Use the optional mono for full value!

We sit-started with a heel on the right, will have to try it again the original way. Great slopers, burly climbing.

Produces more pump and heartbreak than many sport routes!

The moves and holds are very cool, but the rock quality unfortunately ruins it a bit for me. Ranger Daves projects here are monstrous though!

A big line with nice climbing. Though maybe a little carried away with the V grades.

...you know, for V2 I can't think of many better problems in Sydney really. Fun pumpy monkeying into a commiting finish at the grade. Seems to be cleaning up well.

Classic lindfield! How have I missed this wall on previous visits?

Have passed by this wall in the past due to the landings, but we were not short of pads today.

You can really imagine 70's Mikl slamming a single crappy carrot on top of this thing, rehearshing it once, and then thrashing to glory in volleys or boots or whatever. This glorious highball is so overhanging that it's possible you'd land in the trees on the way down before the crash pad. These days I think would actually protect ok with a lot of pads though.
