Grade Route Gear style Quality
Sun 2nd Sep 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
Central Boulders 40 Degree Wall
V4 V3 Face Jump Start - with Skip, Alan and Amy Boulder 4m Classic
Finally hung around at the lip long enough to send it. A really slow thought out mantle was all it took. Not much at the top but slopers have plenty of friction. Good pad placement is essential.

Sun 2nd Sep 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
Central Boulders River terrace
V5 Two face - with Skip, Alan and Amy Boulder 6m Very Good
Very cool and very high, pad-up for this one. Jug on the rail (complete with garden) is juicy, here you can afford a rest and shake out before throwing your left foot on the rail, searching out the high left crimp and even higher juicy right pocket.

Wed 15th Aug 2012 - Mt Yarrowyck
Lost world Lost boulder
V4 Lost world - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 2m Very Good
Funky left foot roll and weight is essential. Desperate high throw to the right sloper.

Wed 15th Aug 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
South-Western Boulders Tank Boulder
V4 Hard arete - with April, George, Darcy, Carol, Daph and Tim Boulder 5m Good
Work to set feet right, high left pinch and a sharp right hand crimper see's you through the crux.

V0 Easy peasy - with April, George, Darcy, Carol, Daph and Tim Boulder 2m Good
V0 Layback - with April, George, Darcy, Carol, Daph and Tim Boulder 2m Good

Good hand and foot jam practice.

Sun 29th Jul 2012 - Mt Yarrowyck
Lost world Above the cave
V3 Whitegoods with a view - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 5m Very Good
Sketchy fall (if you were to fall to the right), take a bunch of pads and go for it. The right arete is better than you think, and jug at the top is very rewarding. Doesn't finish there though.

Sun 29th Jul 2012 - Mt Yarrowyck
Sharpest Mono area Sharpest mono boulder
V2 Layback - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 3m Average
Very chossy didn't have time to clean and search for good holds but they are there.

V2 Pocket fest - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 4m Very Good
Great warm-up sweet features

V0 Traverse - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 3m Average
V3 Sharpest mono in the world - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 4m
Good fun. Must at least touch the 'sharpest Mono in the world' on the way through even if you don't weight it - and you wouldn't want to.

V6 Mergatroyd - with Skip, Alan, Thor and Denni Boulder 3m Classic
Great climb. A little compressiony, sequency, and a good excuse to use your heels.

Sat 21st Jul 2012 - Mt Yarrowyck
Trackside area Trackside Boulder
V6 New Beginning - with Alan, Nath, Tim, April, Ili, and Amy Boulder 4m Very Good
Cool problem, even cooler once April decided to send it on her way past.

Sat 21st Jul 2012 - Mt Yarrowyck
Car Park Boulders Candy For Jeff Boulder
V6 More Candy - with Alan and Nath Boulder 3m Classic
V6 Candy for Jeff - with Alan and Nath Boulder 3m Classic
Great route sent with the aid of some glorious wintery friction. avoid the finger shredding crystal cluster high and left and go straight for the juicy crimp just above them.

Sun 15th Jul 2012 - Coffs Harbour
Glenreagh Fort Knox Goodvibes Wall
18 Steves Preposterous Hypothesis - with Paul Sport 15m, 7 Very Good
A good techy climb with cool features. Liking the garden!

25 Allypop And The Ice-Man - with Alen Sport 15m, 4 Very Good
Sweet mixture of juggy/slopper throws, finishing with crimpy moves, gets a bit pumpy at the top.

Sun 15th Jul 2012 - Coffs Harbour
Glenreagh Fort Knox The Alcove
18 Prize Winning Duck - with Thor Sport 10m, 4 Good
Nice moves.

Sun 1st Jul 2012 - Stonehenge
South East Cluster Mushroom Boulder
V2 S1 - The Mushroom (S1) - with Al, Nath, George, Darcy and Carol Boulder Very Good
Interesting little rock with some fun features on the nose. Great open hand slopers - no wonder Todd loves it.

Sun 1st Jul 2012 - Stonehenge
North-East cluster Cliffhanger boulder
V5 V4 Cliffhanger (NE22) - with Carol, Alen, Nath, George, Cam Boulder 5m Classic
Sharp right moves, reachy left side-pull, pocket and crimps. Cut sick on the lip, there's plenty of good stuff to finish.

Sun 1st Jul 2012 - Stonehenge
North-East cluster Nose rock
V8 V6 Trepanation (NE17) - with Alen, Carol, Nath, George, Amy and Ili Boulder 5m Classic
Sweet problem with great moves and a high ball to boot. Awesome pulling of tiny crimps in order to head right into the void where you soon realise all the holds are gone.....hold in there, breathe deep and go high.

Sat 23rd Jun 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
Southern Boulders Three Star Boulder
V4 Dyno extension Boulder 4m Very Good
V4 Dyno - with Al, Nath, Amy, Carol and George Boulder 3m Very Good
Sweet moves

V4 Rock-hugger Boulder 4m
Sat 19th May 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
Central Boulders Bus driver boulder
V3 Bus Driver Boulder 3m Very Good
Great open hand sloper (no wonder Todd loves it), but sharp and crimpy right hands. Very nice!

V6 V6/7 Bus driver traverse Boulder 7m Classic
Worked all the moves for a bit and then went on a sending train with Nathan and Alan. A bit of everything, slopers, crimps, jugs, crystals, heels and palms, not to mention a classic crotch thrutch compression (oldie but a goodie). Oh and watch your dab. Do chalk bags count?

Wed 25th Apr 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
Downstream climbing areas The Sea Cliff
26 Se A Cabo / Happy Birthday Francis Sport 8m, 6 Classic
Even sweeeeter. Great moves, bit of everything and then it gets better. The extended top-out is icing on the cake.

25 Bullet with Butterfly Wings Sport 7m, 4 Classic
Sweeeeeet climb. Juggy, powerful right was the crux for me. A little overgrown, but Alan soon located all the holds.

Sun 22nd Apr 2012 - Upper Gara Gorge
Central Boulders Vulcanology area
V6 Vulcanology Boulder 4m Very Good
Awesome sequence on the rail, good stuff up top, linking the two isn't pretty but damn fun - Doin the worm!

Mon 16th Apr 2012 - Beulah
Eastern areas Rolled Quad Boulders Power Boulder
V6 Power Monkey SDS Boulder Very Good
Reachy. Privileged to climb it pre-flake removal. Another sweet route on the power boulder. Will try the sit start next year.

Mon 16th Apr 2012 - Coffs Harbour
Glenreagh Fort Knox Strong Room
21 Jeff's Live Round Sport 8m, 3 Good
The type of route that would become better the more times you climbed it. Some interesting features, and a little sequency.

Sun 8th Apr 2012 - Beulah
Western areas Waterfall Dome Waterfall Boulders Saturday Boulder
V2 Light up my chimney Boulder 10m Very Good
And a close second ascent please. Only did it so Brendan would stop giving me slack for forgetting his esky.....A neat climb. Might want to take some mats into the cave for crossing the void. Climbing shoes are also a recommendation.

Fri 6th Apr 2012 - Beulah
Eastern areas Swamp Boulders Rhys boulder
V3 Rhys's crack Boulder 3m Very Good
It wants to be climbed but until you get you feet in the right place it wont happen. Once sequence is unlocked its a route to run up and enjoy.

Fri 6th Apr 2012 - Beulah
Eastern areas Swamp Boulders Justice boulder
V3 Socially just fucker Boulder 8m Very Good
Really cool low traverse, a little sequency before a rest on the vertical line. Delicate finish.

Fri 6th Apr 2012 - Beulah
Eastern areas Rolled Quad Boulders Power Boulder
V4 Spider Monkey Boulder Very Good
Yes the flake will hold you (unless crowbarred off). Really cool route, bit of heel action too. Nice find Alan.

Sat 24th Mar 2012 - Coffs Harbour
Glenreagh Fort Knox The Alcove
25 24 Kanoon Mixed trad 12m, 4 Classic
Juicy. Really cool sequence, jugs everywhere and then a big left leap of faith which once stuck is definitely the highlight.

Sun 18th Mar 2012 - Beulah
Western areas Waterfall Dome Waterfall Boulders Saturday Boulder
V4 Razor Light Boulder 2m Good
Sharp, no back jamming, just one massive cruxy reach for your left hand (unless you do what Carol does and heel hook like spider lady)
