Accidentally did this instead of Deep Water. Really fun route though.

Fun route up through the chimney.

What a day! Slept under the stars at the lookout the night before. Rapping at 6:15. Route finding all went well. Didn't feel like we were slow, but must have been as we didn't get back to the packs at the top of the rap gully till about 10:15. Trudged back to the car because of forecast rain. Said rain did arrive, so ended up driving back to Hobart as well. Mega day!

Stegasaurus was nowhere near 55m the way we did it. Maybe because we skirted around a couple of pillars to find the "squeeze through to the big spike" bit. Worked well. Chimneys were ok and protectable with slings. Especially if you're tall enough to reach the first spike before comitting to the step across.

Little Jaycar walky talkies were super helpful. No problems with comms all day.

Really good pitch in a great position. Found it on point for the grade, and good pro. Probably felt a little harder due to backpack etc. Initial split is way bigger than fist sized, but can be protected with small cams on the left face. I used a full double rack on this pitch, but am a wus.

Nice pitch. Straight into it though with some gravelly dolerite face holds.

Great fun! The tree down low could do with a little prune, but the climbing sneaks around it well. Two large movable blocks just before the top out on the second pitch. One is sitting on the last chockstone in the chimney, the other is to the right. Big tall thing you want to bridge off. Be wary. Hard to not use either of them.

Climbed some of the first pitch and some of the second to access Improbability Drive.

Really great adventure. Rock and climbing was better than I expected. Baked in the sun most of the day. Make sure to take plenty of water. Took double rack from black Totem to #1, extra #0.3, single #2 & #3, hex's, nuts and found this to be almost perfect. Plenty of slings. Maybe just the way I did it, but the bit off the first big ledge felt pretty spicy for a 14.

Punchy little climb. Good fun

Bit awkward and off-balance, but good holds appear and keep it ok for the grade.

Absolute classic! One of the best pure crack pitches around this grade I’ve done on the mountain.

Old school 16. Some thrutching, some foliage (but not too much) and some cool moves. Lead both pitches and exited left into the top of Brown Madonna. Beautiful after work adventure with a cloud inversion sunset below. What a place!

Bomber hands up a zig-zaggy crack. What’s not to like? So fun.

So fun having the two cracks. Wanted to spit you off most of the way though.

Nice varied jambing and bridging.

Nice change to have a few face moves.

Had to fight at the transition to stay in the crack.

Little tricky off the ground and coming out of the pod. Nice varied styles throughout.

Doesn’t let up.

Nice enough. Probably made it a bit more thrutchy than necessary.

Started up intending to do St Vitus' Dance, but got lured into the first pitch of this, and then into the rest of it from the ledge as well. Pitch 3 wasn't straight forward. Dirty, flared, discontinuous cracks made things pretty exciting. Finished up St Vitus' Dance from its pitch 4 up.

Nice enough day out with some beautiful scenery. Climbing was mostly pretty ordinary and the route seemed to follow the worst terrain it could in some places for the sake of maintaining the grade. Some of the bolting became odd as the route progressed with wierd placements in crap rock or creating cross-loading. Bolts in the low angle middle section were smashed by rockfall but not really needed as you could hike these couple of pitches both up and down.

Fun route. Feels long and exposed but doable. Rock reminds me a bit of Arapiles back home. What an amazing setting for a crag.

Packs a lot into a short little climb. Was pretty pumped at the end of the day and had to use the tree.

Least I climbed something clean all day.

Classic fun crack.

Happy to get through this in the end. Moves are all there, but the gear placements are thoughtful. Wasn’t seeing nut placements well and was getting mega pumped while trying to figure them out.

Very enjoyable route. Steep bridging and an exciting finish.

Cool positions. Think I made things harder than necessary around the first bolt. Rock is a bit friable in places.

Some nice bridging, but some suspect rock.

Pumping out really quick currently, but held it together. Nice climbing.

Such a good route. Heaps of gear, airy positions. I lead the first, Tom lead the second.

First climb with the bro in over 3 years. Nice slabbing on the first, airy positions at the end of the second and totally awesome moves on the third. Great route. I would have used a yellow totem near the start of the third pitch if I had it.

Pleasant route. Top takes some figuring out.

Wants to spit you out with awkward crack size and steepness. Bomber gear and ok stances give relief.

Great route. Gear tricky to place around the corner from the stance, but got a prety good yellow totem higher than the RP. Still didn't want to fall.

Tricky body tension moves up the scoop. Super grippy rock saves the day! Got myself into a bit of a pickle mid crux, but stuck a deadpoint move to get through. Exciting!

Great movement. Good RP’s. Tested the head!

Best crack at the grade around I reckon.

Pretty sure the climbing was nice. Mostly good rock. Just couldn’t feel my fingers. So cold!

Good climb. Some moves are a bit stiff for 16 I felt.

A nice sequence at the crux with some interesting moves for SR.

Probably slightly easier than the one to the left.

Enjoyable moves the whole way, but as others commented, the difficulties are really confined to one sequence. Protection with small cam is ok if the flake stays attached.

Awesome climb! Varied, sustained and probably spot on for the grade. That block though! Quite scary and I think should be treated with caution. Almost got my shoe stuck in a jamb.

Some committing moves for the grade. But great fun.

Awesome climb. Good nut placements in the bottom section. Just hoped those flakes stayed attached. Top half was enjoyable crack climbing. Rapped off natural anchor at the top of the first pitch to do Janzoon.

Very good! Only let down is the occasional suspect rock/boulder. But I felt you could avoid using them for the most part. Exciting section up to the tree of the first pitch. Second pitch is just awesome. Lead both pitches.
