Grade Route Gear style Quality
Sun 19th May 2024 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Corroboree Walls Disneyland
17 Glabrate - with Jack Ferguson, Caitlyn Sport 20m Good
One arete move, maybe also a bit awkward for 17??

Sat 18th May 2024 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Mount York Mezzaluna Area
19 Tin Man - with Jack Ferguson, Caitlyn Sport 18m Very Good
Really nice line and very cool crux move!! Thoroughly enjoyable.

17 Sardines - with Jack Ferguson, Caitlyn Sport 12m, 4 Good
A few nice holds on this one

Mon 6th May 2024 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Centennial Glen Hip Shake Jerk Area
24 M0 Wank Wank Spurt - with Jack Ferguson Sport 15m Very Good
Really good fun, a bit cold on all those jugs with the crux right at the top.

Does anyone know how the FA did these routes? Dyno or bolt pull?

Sun 28th Jan 2024 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath The Sunbath
16 ~18 Unknown 4 Sport 12m, 5 Average
The start would be very rude if 16/17 was your limit! Hard to grade as it’s all over once you stand up.

Sat 6th Jan 2024 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd The Dam Cliffs Mossy Wall
14 Fucary Rug - with Jack Ferguson, Ben Molnar, Caitlyn, Campbell Ferguson Sport 15m, 5 Very Good
In boots

Mon 1st Jan 2024 - Bonnet Bay
20 Aarvark - with Ben Molnar, Caitlyn, Jack Ferguson Sport 9m, 3 Average
Contrived, hence average but good climbing. Did my best to stay direct which involved minging a crimp off the ground and ignoring the jugs 30cm to the right…

Honestly just climb the most logical line and enjoy!

20 Bruised and Scratched - with Ben Molnar, Caitlyn, Jack Ferguson Sport 15m, 6 Very Good
One bomber hand jam, one bomber fist jam and then off-width goodness! I definitely still thrutched.

Nice to practice the technique without the fear!

21 Kim - with Ben Molnar, Caitlyn, Jack Ferguson Sport 10m, 3 Good
Definitely needed the beta for this flash, would’ve been very tricky with zero chalk on this route!

15 The Chimney Sport 12m, 3 Very Good
Fun when you use minimal jugs and try to chimney the entire thing!

18 Mowgli Sport 10m, 3 Average
Surprised this is the most popular route here! Was ok

Fri 29th Dec 2023 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Centennial Glen Main Wall
20 to 21 ~21 Ernest Lady (linkup) - with Jack Ferguson Sport 14m, 4 Very Good
Draws were on and I had never climbed it, so figured it would be a good warm up? Not that easy, would have to disagree with 20!

Thu 28th Dec 2023 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd The Dam Cliffs Mossy Wall
19 B1 - with Jack Ferguson, Ben Molnar Sport 15m, 5 Average
Top rope, shortage of lead belays today It was free and available to climb 🤷‍♂️

Thu 28th Dec 2023 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd The Dam Cliffs Wet Feet Area
10 Mystery Tower - with Jack Ferguson, Ben Molnar Sport 12m, 4 Don't Bother
Managed to put the first bolt plate on with the stick clip for a laugh, up and down lead in boots

Mon 11th Dec 2023 - Wye Creek
South Side Main Wall
21 Dream Thing - with Jack Ferguson, Caitlyn Sport 15m, 8 Classic
Start was not THAT juggy, or maybe we missed them, can’t read this schist.

Not too bad pulling the lip and the head wall was super enjoyable!

Mon 6th Nov 2023 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Centennial Glen Main Wall
24 Easy The Disintegrator - with Jack Ferguson Sport 7m Good
Tried once in 2014 and couldn’t hold the holds on that terribly wet day. I did downclimb it to preserve the flash, and I’m glad I managed to 9.5 years later!

It was a bit anticlimactic, was expecting to dyno off terrible holds, but I managed to lock off (the holds were way better than I remembered) and it went very easily.

Sat 21st Oct 2023 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Mount Piddington Flake Crack Area

Up and down lead in approach boots

Sat 12th Aug 2023 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Mount Piddington Eternity Area
15 The Pharaoh Trad 33m Very Good
Start was fine, just a bit reachy, but I found that to be a consistent theme throughout the climb. My reach being JUST enough!

Climbed on Adam’s gear, better placements today Adam!! But still supplemented with my own (including a fantastic 6)

Mon 12th Jun 2023 - Point Perpendicular
The Lighthouse Red Riding Hood Area
17 Little Red Riding Hood Direct Mixed trad 30m, 8 Classic
Following Jack end of day; the start was nails for 17 !! (in the dark with a head torch)

There’s a nut stuck in one of the cracks, spent some time trying to get it out but that ain’t going anywhere. (How did you even get that in there mate?)

Jack had a monstrous run out from that nut (just after the second last bolt) to the last bolt where he decided not to place any of his double rack of cams. Dumbass. 😂

The arete at the top was bloody marvellous, didn’t expect to be pulling those kind of moves on a 17, so damn awesome.

Very keen to try the original during the day and compare.

Sat 13th May 2023 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath The Sunbath
23 The Incredible Hulk Sport 11m Very Good
A surprising flash, must be my style! Aka crimpy, short and sweet crux.

Wish I could claim the onsight but draws were up from another party. Quite straight forward and footers were all where I needed them.

11 Kedumba Sisters Sport 12m, 7 Good
Cleaning

Mon 24th Apr 2023 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath The Sunbath
19 Burger Boys Sport 10m, 5 Very Good

Would be great for a first lead

Thu 31st Dec 2020 - Woy Woy

15 HS Sport 15m, 5 Very Good
Better than the other 15, Thanjon equipped thinking it was the 19

Sun 21st Apr 2019 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Centennial Glen Wave Wall
21 Hang Five Sport 15m, 5 Good
First day on rock in 2019, daaamn. Hopefully this inactivity is rectified soon!

Anyway, a nice addition (rebolt) to this wall for warmups, the top isn't really too bad...

Sat 22nd Dec 2018 - Blue Mountains
Katoomba Area Ngula Bulgarabang/ Radiata Plateau Marchant's Canyon Crags Waylander
23 Saw-Toothed Snake Sport 28m, 13 Classic
Back on rock after a 6 month hiatus and surprised myself by flashing this! I was absolutely peaking at the top and pumped out of my mind; but I thoroughly enjoyed the different styles and sequences throughout this!

Sat 30th Jun 2018 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Jean Jaurès Wall
18 Slip, Snap, Splash. Sport 30m, 15 Very Good
F-f-f-freezing. Really quality 18 though; was quite pumped at the top but it may have been the cold?

Sat 23rd Jun 2018 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Shipley Upper Grey Slab
19 Country Special Sport 18m Good
Golly gosh! Ground falls are all possible while getting to the first; clipping the second and clipping the third. Also nearly got sandbagged with wrong hand beta by Harry.

NOTE: So other people don't make the same mistake as me; the route on the left end of Grey Slab with RINGS is 'The Answer is Obvious' and this route is the one with 5 hard to spot carrots; and lays between 'The Answer is Obvious' and 'The Bandoline Grip'.

Wed 2nd May 2018 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Gateway, Doomsday & Fort Rock Fort Rock Crag
22 Company C Sport 16m Very Good
Thin for a few moves, surrounded by pleasant climbing

23 Remember the Alamo Sport 15m, 7 Good
Does feel squeezed in and contrived; has a (not-so) great lay down rest!

22 F Troop Sport 16m, 4 Very Good
Steeper than the others, but with bigger holds. Was fairly pumped!

21 22 Rogue Fort Sport 16m Very Good
This was good but probably more 22 than 21! Has a few nice moves.

20 The Royal Commission Sport 14m Good
Should clean up nicely with more ascents!

Fri 9th Mar 2018 - Blue Mountains
Leura Sublime Point West Face (Main Area) Middle Cliffs Ben Trovato Wall
23 Reigning Steel Sport 17m, 7 Very Good
Read the crux wrong, but managed to climb out of it and finish it off! Quite happy to flash this!

Thu 25th Jan 2018 - Blue Mountains
Leura Sublime Point West Face (Main Area) Middle Cliffs Binary Cave
24 Survival Day Sport 20m, 10 Very Good
I'd give it 24 if you're short; for sure. It was a HELL of a move.

Had to crank on that crimp (in todays humidity) for a solid 5 seconds while adjusting my feet on the shelf; ouch.

Can see how height would make a difference (Lewis just skipped the crimp and went to the jug from the undercling)

Tue 16th Jan 2018 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Celebrity Crags Jimmy Cliff
19 Anal Leakage Sport 15m, 6 Very Good
Utilised all the no hand rests, gotta work on my endurance...

Sat 9th Sep 2017 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bowens Creek Main Wall Left
22 Shut the Gate Sport 15m Very Good
Warmup, love the top! Fantastic (but spooky) moves

Sat 12th Aug 2017 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bowens Creek Main Wall Left
20 Kraut Pleaser Sport 15m, 6 Good
A bit pumpier than I expected, and fairly spoogy; I don't see the hype...

Sat 24th Jun 2017 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Duck Wall
18 Gosling Sport 12m, 4 Good
Can't remember anything except there was such a nice sculpted jug!

20 Duckling Sport 12m, 4 Good
Had 18 written under it, rubbed it out afterwards! Bit tricky, but not very memorable

Mon 29th May 2017 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Shipley Upper Hot Flyer Wall
22 Lardy Lady's Lats Sport 25m, 13 Very Good
Really good, borderline classic, I liked Hot Flyer more! Almost didn't stick the crux!

Sun 28th May 2017 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Duck Wall
17 How Much Is A Duck Worth Sport 15m Good
Up then down climbed, cleaning seemed annoying if I were to lower

21 Duck Tits Sport 16m Very Good
Warmup, really nice climbing; a couple quintessential blueys crimp moves.

Sun 21st May 2017 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Centennial Glen Junket Pumper Area
19 Billy Bunter Sport 15m, 5 Good
Actually not too bad! Onsight, but draws were on, so flash it is?

20 19/20 Charlene Sport 25m Very Good
Really good top half; some good climbing! Not trad, Thanjon solo'd the start, no gear necessary. "Mixed' climb if anything

Tue 12th Jan 2016 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Mount York Mezzaluna Area
19 Public Pressure Sport 30m, 8 Good
A right heel crux as well... Did it with a super high left foot and had to really give it some because it was in a bad spot!

20 Murmel Snooze Sport 25m, 9 Very Good
Current guide has this as 21, probably right? The crux involves a right heel hook, but I came up with an inventive left heel to kneebar Was very happy with that!

Mon 5th Oct 2015 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag The Blowhole
18 Blow Fly Sport 15m, 8 Good
Bit of a tricky start, cool flake up top

17 Louie Gets The Blow Sport 14m, 5 Good
Bit of a reachy move at the start, and some dodgy rock towards the top, tread lightly

16 Kwik Grip (PHM 1) Sport 15m, 9 Good
Just jugs, very simple

Sat 3rd Oct 2015 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Cosmic County Area The Freezer
18 Soul Sister Sport 24m Very Good
Very enjoyable warmup, got a bit pumpy, but that's just my terrible endurance!

Fri 25th Sep 2015 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Mount Piddington Eternity Area
20 Neil Diamond Syndrome Sport 25m Very Good
Very pleasant climb! Few moves, ledge; few moves, ledge; repeat!

Thu 10th Sep 2015 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath Pole 28 Lower Cliff
22 Fridge and the Freezer Sport 50m Very Good
Flashed the first pitch, to my surprise... Had to really fight for it though... Really nice climbing, had all the holds sorted out thanks to Paul! Second pitch, on second and with a rest; shoulder felt not so great...

Wed 30th Jul 2014 - The Balkans

Very straight forward, apparently I missed the jug?

Sat 28th Jun 2014 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area New York East (Right) Side
19 Silence of the Cams Sport 15m, 5 Very Good
Nice. Some reachy, but good moves! That's all today, got snowed out...

18 Manhattan Sport 12m Good
Tough slabby sandbag. Two tough moves up high!

Mon 23rd Jun 2014 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath The Sunbath
13 14 Ole Biscuit Barrel Sport 15m, 5 Good
To get up higher the wall to take some photos of Hannan climbing Strange Karma! Easy, in approach shoes.

Fri 18th Apr 2014 - Mount Alexandra
Vox Populi Wall
17 Dorothy the Dinosaur Sport 16m, 5 Very Good
Pretty sure I did this... Bolts all over the wall! Pockets down low, balancey towards the middle-top (but jug haul in the last 2 metres) and has a bit of everything!

Fri 18th Apr 2014 - Mount Alexandra
The First Cave
21 Bruised Poonarnee Sport 14m, 6 Very Good
Cool bouldery start, more strenuous but less awkward than Galvanise I think.

Sun 9th Feb 2014 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Jean Genie Area
23 Puppy Fat Sport 10m, 4 Very Good
Hardish start, reachy jugs and then a sweet dyno off two decent holds to a mega jug! Exciting and engaging finish.

Sun 2nd Feb 2014 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Little Triggers Wall
17 Solvin Puzzle Sport 15m, 10 Average
Cruisy, one move about halfway up. Not bad, skipped three bolts, way too many!

Wed 15th Jan 2014 - Blue Mountains
Lower Blue Mountains Birdwood Gully The Cave
21 B 1 Sport 10m Crap
Shit. A waste of bolts, time, chalk and climbing shoe rubber. The rock takes 'sand' stone to a whole new level. I was pretty much black by the time I finished this climb (and my belayer too). The last time I had that much sand on me, I was at the beach.

Checked out Backyard Basic, but it was getting destroyed by the sun in the afternoon; so decided to check out Birdwood Gully.

Sun 12th Jan 2014 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Arrivals (Lower)
21 Jigger Jeff (to the ledge) Sport 14m Good
Not too memorable, just a couple of thin and reachy moves. Footers are mostly good.

20 19 Belayer's Root Sport 14m Very Good
Enjoyable and cruisy, definitely worth a lap; but it's over rather quickly.

Sun 12th Jan 2014 - Blue Mountains
Bells Line of Road & Chifley Rd Bell Supercrag Sunnyside
21 When the Spirits are Calling Sport 15m, 8 Good
More awkward at the grade, then solid, I think. Still sandy, and mantle-y; not a fan.

22 Seamstress Sport 22m, 10 Classic
Really great pumpy warm up. Cool moves at the start, and an 'easy crux' if you're short; pumpy all the way to the anchors, just gotta keep moving. Splendid climbing!

Sat 4th Jan 2014 - Blue Mountains
Blackheath Area Logan Brae Main Cliff
22 Room With a View Sport 15m Very Good
Looks like everything here is pretty solid at the grade, not the best warm up (for me, too pumpy). Fun climbing, though, with an obvious crux sequence.

Wed 1st Jan 2014 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Little Triggers Wall
21 Lady Stardust Sport 21m, 6 Very Good
Very enjoyable climbing! Thanjon hated this, however...

Sat 28th Dec 2013 - Blue Mountains
Mount Victoria Area Bardens Lookout Little Triggers Wall
21 22 Lady Grinning Soul Sport 25m, 7 Very Good
Really just one move, still good climbing though!

Sat 14th Dec 2013 - Blue Mountains
Medlow Bath The Sunbath
19 Poultry in Motion Sport 15m, 6 Very Good
Really good route! Nice and cruisy the whole way, just gotta move through that crux. Wanted to try Viper; but there's a little piece of cord on the first bolt?

19 Gimme Shelter Sport 35m, 14 Good
Only one move (hold) at the grade of 19. Very cruisy apart from one move. Cleaning was very annoying (rethread, rappel, rethread, rappel). Not worth the effort if I'm honest. Quite a bit of ropedrag doing it in one pitch.

Showing 1 - 100 out of 175 ascents.
