Ascents as Clean by Donald Gibson

After rain, the hold under the second bolt gets dirty, making sticking the long reach from the mono a little harder. Fun climb.

This climb needs a thorough clean, particularly the crimps that you reach to for the crux. The upper section is covered in lichen and dirt making it nothing like the superb climb it was two years ago. Judging from the amount of muck in the good incuts near the top, it doesn't appear to have been climbed in a while - and with good reason.

Top rope repeat. Felt much more straight forward with a rope from above(!) although the move off the ground was still tricky.

After leading Manic, top roped this to retrieve the draws.

Various broken holds at the direct start from the boulder so I started slightly down and left. Pleasant technical moves. Would benefit from more traffic to clean off the loose gritty surface.

Very steep for the grade but well protected and not strenuous if you bridge the corner

Seconded to clean the gear. Was the first half of D to the ledge then up the adjacent climb still good climbing and it worked as a hybrid climb

A quick ascent in fading light after Roman led it. More fun climbing, especially the heel hook move over the roof.

Steep jug pulling to a series of layback moves to finish. Thanks for leading, Mitch. It was much easier as a second.

Thin start until past the third bolt, then a series of technical mantle moves.

The move past the bolt was just as difficult as I remember from previous ascents.

Excellent lead by Roman at the end of the day. Just ran up it! A couple of long reaches and one tricky move using a small pocket for the right hand - otherwise mostly straightforward on good holds. The difficulty comes from the sustained steepness and the length of the pitch.

One move wonder - but fun and satisfying to stick the dyno after a few abortive attempts.

Lovely climbing slapping up the arête. Sustained right to the last move.

Top roped using the DBB on Probalator after leading that climb. Lovely long move from the pocket on the upper wall to the slopers below the DBB. If leading, I'd suggest taking a long sling for the first clip on the DBB to avoid the risk of taking a long fall if you slip off while clipping at the top.

Nice moves up the ramp lead to steeper ground and a tough last move - when your arms are tired from the lower section.

OK at start but soon becomes loose

take care with the sharp flake at the top.

Tough for 16 going up the middle of the upper wall.

Nice moves going under the roof and into the crack
