Ascents by David Gibbs having Distinct route

Screwed up the sequence a couple places, but I think I I got things right, I could get it clean, at least on TR.

Cheated past the opening crux, and fell a couple other spots, too. But a good climb.

Some hard work, and some interesting changes of balance and technique as the climb goes.

Need to remember to step left around the corner about where there is a largish flat spot on the arete.

Decided to drop a top-rope on this for the fun of it -- didn't expect to get it clean, but ended up doing so. A happy surprise.

Gear looks to be quite good, so now I'm thinking of leading it.

Hard start, with an intimidating ledge fall if you don't make the 2nd clip -- I'd be inclined to suggest stick-clipping bolt 2.

Rest of the climb is mellow, with a touch of though needed near the end.

Flo lead it, I seconded. Technically, I rested on gear at one point, but that was to clean a cam that had been placed (or migrated?) far enough into the crack that the I could just touch the clip-in loop, and had to use my nut-tool to release the cams.

I found it harder than Lightweight Guides -- more sustained, fewer rests.

Where the crack gets wider to rattly-hands and kicks-back is where I took several rests to get it.
