Ascents by Cameron Roy having Distinct route

Bottom half of the climb is quite nice, the top half featured loose rock (which ended up coming off) and no worthwhile protection.

Led the 2nd pitch as Sam didn't want to commit to the slick initial moves of the chimney. I quite enjoyed it, reminded me of the great chimney at Moonarie.

With nick. Loving my new double ropes. Not very sustained but great fun and a bit of exposure.

First third mossy, second part enjoyable but didn't see the need for the bolt, I put a cam in the pocket about 30 cm away from it.

OK climbing, but access is a bit of a mission.

With Scott and Rikke. Something for everyone. Tough times in the corner on the 2nd pitch. Fav climb of the trip!

With anton. Found the traverse super tough. Getting out of the roof was cool though.

With Jessii. Bit dirty. I had to work a bit at the start.

Great fun. Finished in the dark (but knew we were going to, had torches.) Unsure about best location for the second belay.

Great route, pitches 2+3 are absolutely superb! First route at Moonarie, amazing location. Very cold in the shade, we didn't take enough warm stuff, but learnt for next time.

Pleasant enough, then after passing chockstone the rock deteriorated a bit.

1st climb in the blue mountains. 1st pitch a doddle, 2nd pitch makes it worthwhile. Linked pitches, some rope drag.

With Anton. Great end to a rainy few days. Linked pitches 4 and 5 but it was a bit draggy.

Two laps, teaching people to second.

Dawdle until the last 2 metres. Unsure of date.

Reviewing seconding with Chris. Heaps of good gear.

Didn't have to spend that much time inside the crack.

Not everybody's cup of tea but I enjoyed it. Dropped my belay glasses from the top so had to abseil the route to recover them

Great route. I led the traverse, Darren had the rest. Horns are horny.
