Grade Route Gear style Crag Quality Date
6a+ 7a+ La gloria escondida (Gloria Pitch 1) - with Sarah Doherty Sport 210m Valle de Guadar (Echo Valley) Good Fri 16th Dec 2016
Rain started to roll in, so I jumped on this to quickly get another route in. Felt at least 6b, but not sure. Weather turned bad, but Luke jumped on an awesome 7b+ that unfortunately had a crimpy boulder crux, so couldn't work it with him. Hopefully the rain goes away and we get some sunshine soon!

19 20 Choc Chip Chai - with Lee Cujes, Sammi Sport 15m, 7 Blue Mountains Classic Thu 17th Dec 2015
Super fun. Great climbing at the grade. Those holds!

19 20 The Last Wave - with Matt Eaton, Scott Braithwaite Sport 50m, 11 Vaucluse Good Sat 23rd Jul 2016
Worthwhile, but not three stars. First pitch is very very soft at 19, second pitch is nails hard at 18 if your not tall, and the third pitch is a giveaway at 20. I'd suggest 17, 19, 19. Most of the first pitch was wet after you turn the lip, and the middle of the second pitch was flowing, but all the cruxes were dry. Definitely a good outing, but it's a shame the final pitch is so short.

P1: Kurt, P2: Scott, P3: Matt

6a+ 6b Monahiki Elia Sport 25m, 9 Kalymnos Classic Sun 2nd Oct 2011
Superb climbing through great terrain.

19 Plunging for Mudbunnies Sport 18m, 4 Kangaroo Point Very Good Sat 31st Mar 2012
Sweet start with an awesome sequence moving up to the 2nd. Topping the bulge/rooflet is a fun jug haul.

19 19 R Arrow - with Matthew Burt Sport 18m, 4 Kangaroo Point Good Sat 23rd Nov 2019
Actually not too bad. Start was interesting and not as hard as it looks from the ground. I slung the drill hole, but probably wouldn't feel the need now I know where the holds are. Middle section has some nice holds and movement. Almost stuffed the finish as I went too high before stepping right.

19 Silly or Serious - with Scott Braithwaite Sport 18m, 5 Kangaroo Point Good Thu 11th Feb 2016
Reachy move at the roof. Runout between the 3rd and 4th is stupid—the fall would be very bad.

19 Footprints on the Other Side Sport 18m, 6 Brooyar Very Good Sat 1st Mar 2014
Great route. Felt soft for the grade. Also, in sneakers.

19 Beyond the Black Stump - with Tony Sport 15m Brooyar Classic Sat 6th Jun 2015
Have walked past this so many times and not done it due to the bolt spacing. Finally got on it and it's fantastic. Tough start that sets the grade then jug hauling to the chains (17ish once above the first). Could be super bad falling before you clip the second and scary big if you fall before clipping either of the final two, but it is really nice climbing.

19 Butt Nuggets - with Matt Burt Sport 20m Blue Mountains Very Good Sun 7th Jan 2018
More great climbing! Bit of a run out through easy ground in the middle, but everything you need and more is available. Could be soft for the grade, but who cares when it's this enjoyable.

19 Anal Leakage - with Matt Burt Sport 15m, 6 Blue Mountains Good Sun 7th Jan 2018
Four routes in without a rest and this felt tough! Bouldery little start on this one (that I read very poorly and almost punted), but it gives way to pretty juggy climbing.

19 Ancient Mariner - with Matt Burt Sport 12m, 5 Blue Mountains Very Good Tue 2nd Jan 2018
I thought this was great. Quite interesting through the scoop and a little pumpy by the time you pull round the top. The carrot route to the left, Albatross, seems a little squeezed in though and could probably have been an alternate finish instead of an "independent" line.

19 Rocketsauce - with Alex Mougenot Sport 12m, 6 Mt Tibrogargan Good Fri 10th Aug 2018
Not as juggy as it looked from the ground. Almost came off twice on this! Still, a good line with some fun climbing.

19 Tenacious D - with Alex Mougenot Sport 12m, 6 Mt Tibrogargan Good Fri 10th Aug 2018
Straight after Tenacious D. Also not as easy as it looked from the ground, but equally as enjoyable as it's neighbour. Good finish to a spectacular day out. Great to see Moogie crush some big digits too!

19 Billy Bunter - with Peatey Sport 15m, 5 Blue Mountains Good Sun 3rd Jan 2016
Way better than its neighbour. Some good sequences on the upper head wall.

19 Jack High Sport 20m Blue Mountains Very Good Tue 2nd Jul 2013
Great pitch of climbing. Solid and pretty consistent for the grade. Shame it's not longer!

19 Mike and Lorna go to Town - with Matt Burt Sport 25m, 6 Blue Mountains Very Good Mon 31st Dec 2018
Fun, though the difficulties are over pretty quick.

19 Little Triggers - with Matt Burt Sport 25m Blue Mountains Classic Fri 5th Jan 2018
Straight after Monkey Girl. Superb climbing. Tough little start to enjoyable overlaps/breaks then great movement through the scoop. Really great value for the grade. Get's a classic in my book.

19 Electric Blue - with Matthew Burt Sport 35m, 7 Blue Mountains Mega Classic Thu 10th Oct 2019
Simply sensational. I enjoyed every second of this onsight; it's certainly become one of my favourite easy routes in the mountains. Movement was interesting, with the route following a nice wandering line of features up the wall. The final few meters round the small bulge and up to the ledge felt fantastic. Carrots are nicely spaced, helping to create a good sense of exposure while climbing, but it didn't ever feel dangerous to me (the first carrot is about 10m up, with seven in total, so the spacing is around 3.5m). The carrots themselves are a mix of broad-heads and "normal" ones; of the seven carrots, my bolt plates fit four, so I had to use wires on the other three. I found it very easy for 19, but the finish definitely has the ability to bring heartbreak to would-be ascensionists, so it deserves some respect.

19 Lonely Thursday - with Sarah Doherty Sport 12m Blue Mountains Very Good Fri 18th Dec 2015
Probably a tad more consistent than 'Sloper for Saddam'. Went very direct at the last bolt using a shallow pocket instead of heading a touch right. Nice to see some clip'n'lower anchors on this one too.

19 Sloper for Saddam - with Sarah Doherty Sport 15m, 3 Blue Mountains Very Good Fri 18th Dec 2015
As with most routes on this section, the features are great. Fairly solid start into jugs then the namesake sloper adds a bit a spice in the middle.

6a+ Fisura tal travesía Pascual (Fisura tal) - with Luke Doherty Sport 22m Gandia Classic Sun 25th Dec 2016
One of the best at the grade I did this trip. Very interesting climbing throughout—definitely no give away. The hanger for the fourth (or fifth) bolt is missing, so it has a bit of a run out once you round the initial featured start, but it's not an issue if you're comfortable at the grade. Geez I'm gonna miss limestone!

19 Tin Man - with Matthew Burt Sport 18m Blue Mountains Good Mon 14th Oct 2019
Warming up. Interesting crux for sure, but most of the climbing on this is long moves between good holds; don't really see why it gets two stars. Would be proper hard for shorties.

19 Worm Hole - with Matt Burt, Mum, Dad Sport 17m, 5 Mt Ngungun Average Sat 4th Nov 2017
Quick reccy while the others warmed up. Okay I guess, but hardly suitable for someone at that grade. Found a decent gold just below the second. Would not be recommending a beginner going up to the jugs and clipping at the waist—would be a deckout for sure. The rest of the route is pretty uninteresting. Didn't want to get the leading this s cleaned it straight away.

6a+ Route 66 Sport 25m, 13 Kalymnos Good Wed 5th Oct 2011
Tough start for the grade.

19 Dysentery RHF Sport 18m, 6 Kangaroo Point Very Good Tue 9th Aug 2011
Definitely better then the normal finish.

19 Have Another Home Brew - with Sam Sport 10m, 4 Mt Ninderry Good Sat 5th Apr 2014
Great little number. Short but probably worth at least one star.

19 Quirrell's Quarrell - with Matt Burt Sport 25m, 10 Blue Mountains Classic Fri 5th Jan 2018
Straight after Sound and Vision. So good! Loved the crux up top. Great climbing and another classic in my opinion, though perhaps not quite a consistent as Little Triggers. Matt and Dad top-roped it (I was too lazy to climb it again if they didn't get to the chains lol). Matt didn't quite pull the crux, but Dad got through it after a few goes. They're climbing so good!

19 Captain Hook - with Matt Burt Sport 25m Blue Mountains Average Sun 30th Dec 2018
Interesting start, but over too soon. The rest is pretty nondescript jugging. Soft for the grade.

19 The Gravity Game - with Matt Burt Sport 12m Blue Mountains Good Thu 4th Jan 2018
Very cruxy and a little sandy. Felt more like a 20 to me

6a+ Cartagenera - with Luke Doherty Sport 25m Mula Classic Fri 23rd Dec 2016
Superb features, though it's getting pretty polished. Packs a lot of climbing and bolts.

19 Nemo - with Jack Kilsby Sport 12m, 5 Mt Ninderry Average Mon 23rd Jul 2018
Boy am I not good at reading Ninderry's slabs haha. This felt well easier than Neo Nasi Goreng.

19 Jimmy Valmer - with Matthew Burt Sport 20m, 7 Blue Mountains Good Mon 14th Oct 2019
After bailing from Masterplan area looking for some easier climbing, we ended up here. A worthwhile addition to the cliff with a short thin crux above the big flake/block. Thanks for the bolts Lee Cujes

19 Catastrophist - with Matthew Burt Sport 20m, 9 Flinders Peak (limited access) Very Good Sat 6th Jun 2020
Tricky crux into some great jug hauling to a great position at the top of the pillar.

19 The Big Boss - with Matt Burt Sport 12m, 6 Mt Ninderry Good Sat 3rd Jun 2017
Quite enjoyed this. Fun crux and steeper than it looks. Not a bad end to the day, but I definitely should have headed up to Ocean Vista instead of traipsing all the way round to Sunburnt Buttress and back.

19 18 Mr Scumbag - with Matt Burt Sport 20m Blue Mountains Good Sun 7th Jan 2018
Harder crux than Butt Nuggets and Anal Leakage. Overall, I'd say its a soft but cruxy 19. Regardless, all these routes are great—thanks for the rebolt Heath Black. Seven pitches back-to-back before 11am and the 36° heat settled in. So good.

19 18 Neo Nasi Goreng - with Matt Burt Sport 25m, 9 Mt Ninderry Good Sat 3rd Jun 2017
Very fun finish. Otherwise fairly mediocre slabbing.

6a+ 6b Dedalo Sport 25m Kalymnos Good Mon 3rd Oct 2011
Tough finish for the grade.

19 The Bolting Gestapo Sport 18m, 5 Kangaroo Point Good Sat 31st Mar 2012
Reasonably good. Second bulge did prove awkward.

19 Something About Sandy Sport 13m, 5 Mt Tibrogargan Good Wed 15th Feb 2012
The nice little crux makes it worthwhile; a bit soft otherwise.

19 Feliz Cumplianos Eliana (Filez Cumplianos Eliana) Sport 8m Hillwood (private land) Average Tue 10th Apr 2012
Okay short slab with a nice move or two. Easy for the grade.

19 Ghost Rider Sport 27m, 10 Hillwood (private land) Very Good Fri 13th Apr 2012
Nice slab. Reasonable for the grade. Nicest climbing is from the last bolt to the anchors. Would say it's worthy of 2 stars, not 3.

19 Living in a Transient World Sport 8m Hillwood (private land) Average Wed 11th Apr 2012
Okay line with okay moves. Wasn't inspired by it, so bludgeoned my way up with some powerful moves and not-so-great technique. Bolting is pretty ick too (w.r.t the 2nd).

6a+ Poly Retsina No Good Sport 15m Kalymnos Good Thu 6th Oct 2011
6a+ Femio Sport 18m, 7 Kalymnos Good Thu 29th Sep 2011
6a+ Styx Sport 25m, 9 Kalymnos Good Tue 27th Sep 2011
6a+ Sapfo Sport 22m, 10 Kalymnos Average Tue 27th Sep 2011
6a+ Drama Sport 20m Kalymnos Very Good Thu 29th Sep 2011
Quality climbing all the way until the 2nd last bolt; finish is boring.

19 Belayer's Root - with Dad Sport 14m Blue Mountains Good Mon 8th Jan 2018
Cleaning gear. I quite enjoyed this one—some good technical movement up a slightly steep wall. Dad almost onsighted and Matt almost flashed—they both fell moving to the chains!! So good to see them working hard

19 Birthday Bolts - with Lee Cujes, Sammi Sport 20m, 9 Blue Mountains Very Good Thu 17th Dec 2015
Great slabbing. Would be tougher for shorties.

19 Gnarley - with Ross Sport 18m, 10 Pages Pinnacle Good Mon 4th Nov 2013
Great headwall after the nondescript start. Sneaky finish.

19 Aquadhere - Extended - with Matthew Burt Sport 20m Blue Mountains Very Good Mon 7th Oct 2019
This was really fun, though quite stop-start. I'd say Aquadhere get's its grade for the last move to it's chains, and I'd say the same of this extension.

19 Nut - with Scott Braithwaite Sport 20m, 6 Kangaroo Point Good Thu 11th Feb 2016
Old dog = alzheimers onsight. Awkward crux. Final section is nice.

19 17 Absentia - with Matt Burt, Mum, Dad Sport 20m, 6 Mt Ngungun Very Good Sat 4th Nov 2017
Alzheimer's onsight. Forgot how much of a sandbag this is...whoops. The others struggled to pull the tricky, bouldery start and quickly pumped out above when they dogged past. Run out to the anchors was much further than I recalled too, so probably a good thing no one made it there haha. Definitely good climbing though, just not at the advertised grade. Grade 17/18 edging with a 19-ish crux at the first—the polished feet certainly doesn't help the grade.

19 20 Pommy Bastard - with The Rock Squad Sport 18m, 5 Kangaroo Point Good Sat 9th May 2015
Cleaning gear after squad. Don't actually think it's 20. Agree with SEQ guidebook on 19, though would even suggest 18. It's definitely soft.

19 Hot Flyer pitch 1 - with Matthew Burt Sport 18m Blue Mountains Very Good Tue 8th Oct 2019
Repeat. Cleaning gear after Matt's confident onsight. I really enjoy this one. A balancy and delicate start leads into some really nice flowy climbing. Definitely enjoy this more than Jack High.

19 21 The Robot Devil Sport 15m Mt Tibrogargan Good Wed 15th Feb 2012
Couldn't see the last bolt, went the wrong way and then pumped out
