I need to practice jamming!

What an adventure !

Climbed this one down and up for access to the crag.

With pre-placed gear. Nice climbing but I still need to practise crack climbing a lot.

P1 & P2 - Seconded both pitches clean in approach shoes with a backpack. Bailed as there were 3 of us and we couldn't be bothered fucking around in the dark!

Nice climbing up the crack and a one move wonder near the end. Nothing special!

Quite enjoyable laybacking up the crack. I completely fucked up the trad anchor though! Now I know for next time.

Didn't put much gear in because it was too easy but nevertheless a great climb for learning trad.

Jumped on to the jug from the ledge. Very interesting moves and a solid climb the whole way!

Onsight with pre-placed gear. Almost came off the finger lock up high but fought it out. Cool technical climbing the whole way.

Plenty of jamming = fun!

Nice moves up the crack and definitely a worthwhile climb.

Second ever trad lead! Introductory climb to Araps. P1 - Onsight, P2 - Onsight (barefoot) and P3 - Second clean (barefoot).

Onsight solo. It's basically a steep hike!

Nice solid layback moves on this climb!

Good crack!

EOD in the blasting sun! Sweating like crazy but great climb with lots of exposure! Some big moves along the way too.

The trad start going up crack was really nice but again, the steep pocket moves got me. Damn hard through the bulge. Finished the rest of the climb (slab) on the sport version on second.

Beautiful slopey orange slab/face start that I climbed through no problems. The powerful pocket moves defeated me, even after numerous attempts. Finally, the crimpy slab finish was rad and I did it clean. All up superb climbing.

End of day exit route from Windjammer. Practiced a bit more jamming this time.

Second only crack climb. Practice, practice and more practice!!

My first trad lead. Apart from one dodgy cam placement, the rest was firmly in place. And could have put one or two more pieces of gear just before the end. Nice corner.

Some great rock features and sustained all the way. Definitely want to try and tick this next time.

Another repeat. Reachy moves to pockets.

At a certain point on this climb, about halfway, I started traversing along these small holds instead of reaching up a little higher to a large jug which I didn't notice. Also broke off a hold.

Stemming and a few lay-backs along the way. Fun climbing with many interesting moves!

Thin slabbing is great.

Nice climb to finish the two day Pt Perp trip off with. There is a cool move at the crack feature halfway up the climb.

Seconded this to get out of Windjammer. About 21/22 3/4 of the way and then crazy hard. Still managed to do all the crux moves but broken down with many rests.

Enjoyable climbing with jumbo sized pockets up high.

Crimpy slabbing on superb rock.

Quality of rock is great. One thin move on this but not an issue with good footwork.

Some good quality moves throughout the climb. Done as a sport route.

After scrub bashing from another climb on Thunderbird wall this was a good climb to go on to get back up.

Fun lay back corner to finish day off.

Could manage all the moves but couldn't link some of the harder crux moves. Great climb to project. More warm-ups before this next time.

Attempted another 25m of climbing (was about 22) which I dogged. It is a new 40m 26 with the first 20m being 22. Too juiced but another great climb to repeat next time.

With Paul. Pitch 1 - Second Clean, Pitch 2 - Onsight, Pitch 3 - Second Clean.

Pitch 2 was definitely the highlight of Comyn's. Delicate, balancey friction slabbing all in the feet. I really enjoyed the first few moves of this pitch.

The sea of pockets made this climb really cool.

Great climb up an interesting arete with a few balancey moves.

Cool climbing alongside crack using jugs.
