Not sure if Alzheimer's onsight or actual onsight...either way, I'm claiming it. I almost came off minging on the crimp!

Soft as at 12c. Maybe 12a? Cool climbing nonetheless.

Not too bad at 24 - especially if you can just pull past all the shit holds. I remember years ago looking up at this and being intimidated!

Bit squishy but nice climbing.

The route of the crag - not much other reason to come out here.

Easy until the last move. Not too bad.

All the business is around the third bolt or so. A good stance to work out your approach, decide how your gonna do it and then blast up until you make it through our fall off. Excellent!

Got way pumped on the onsight! This day was about getting pumped!

Excellent climbing up a rounded arete! I loved the grovel followed by wet mantle. Every move was great.

Not as hard as pumpy as the other good routes. Cool climbing with hard sequence round the arete.

Bit of a one move wonder - just crimp down and pull. Not bad...but not that great.

A bit more consistent than Sahara - not bad.

I like the mantle thing at a third height - good reach required.

I couldn't even do the moves the first time I tried it - this time I cruised up it putting the draws on. What a difference cold weather makes!

Would have been an alzheimers onsight but I remembered the phallic hold after the crux

I don't know why I was pulling so hard on the pebble - there is an opposing sidepull to make it easy...er. Plenty thin clipping the next bolt though!

Lap to finish off the day! Classic - as always.

Didn't have much chop on the onsight but managed it pretty easy on first red point attempt. Saw the mono - didn't need it.

Took a couple more goes than it should have - rarely done classic nonetheless! I managed to keep on the face for most of it this time rather than escaping round right.

Classic as always. Once you tick this - move on to Silly Putty!

Not as good as the description suggests but still pretty good. I think I made it harder for myself just before the traverse - that was the crux for me and it was still on the 23 section!

I peaked on the second route of the day!

Once I worked out the sequence, not too bad.

Note: there was tape on the bottom bolt with "do not climb" written on it. Whoever put it there should clarify why - because if it's some bumbly's idea of a "dangerous" route then it can be ignored. On the other hand, if it's a sacred site or some other legitimate reason then people should stay off it.

Is it wrong to climb into the sit down rest on Donkey Dong?

I found the move after the crux harder than the crux...the crux itself was surprisingly easy - thank god for good conditions.

Would have been easier if I'd had some idea of the sequence!

Alzheimer's Onsight! My fingers were so cold I couldn't tell how pumped I was after the crux. I was fairly sure the answer was "very".

Classic grotto crimper - and the crimps aren't even that bad.

Took me a bit to work out a sequence and then three shots to actually send it! Desperate! I'm kinda glad I didn't get through the crux on the onsight, it would have been damn exciting trying to place gear with the slippery feet. I had placed a nut right in the middle of the crux whilst hanging on the rope - utterly impossible to do otherwise.

They don't give away 24s here. I thought I had it - I did not.

I made it through the cruxy start but couldn't see the holds on the top section in the half shadows.

Rounding out the three! None of them are the classic that hoped them to be.

Quite a laugh! A pity I slipped off the start. Keeps you guessing.

Some cool climbing but pretty hard for the grade and also slowly disintegrating.

Brutal think section at 1/3 height culminating in a lunge to a crimp that wasn't there. On second inspection, the crimp was there just a half a hand leftwards. Great route but stiff at 24!

Got my arse handed to me! It's got some good moves in the first four bolts but it's desperate and doesn't let up. I couldn't even dog through at the fourth bolt. Give it 27 and insta mega classic!
