Climbed it sport, which is fun as long as you don't think too much about how high the first bolt is.

Made it through the crux but it was super damp and I was over gripping and not trusting my feet to compensate. I got tired and needed a break.

Pulled all the moves an I think I could probably do this if I learn to place gear

This was wet and not fun. on a dry day this would be a pretty average climb

Better than I remembered

This was a physical battle.

Some guys had a top rope already on this and we're nice enough to let me give it a go. I've also realized my stick clip can get the first bolt so I may go for the sport redpoint sometime

Stick clipped the first bolt to skip the gear section, then got shut down on the crux. I guess that's karma haha.

I've got the beta fully down now. TR'd the whole thing with a few rests then lowered to the start of the crux and sent the top half clean.

The exposure on Ummagumma was a bit too much for Vic so she topped out and crag master David Gibbs belayed me up a linkup version of the two routes.

this was a bit sketchy definitely topping out on one of the easy climbs from now on.

Really fun route all the way to the top. I'd argue that the route climbs at more of a 5.8. The upper section is a little trickier than 5.7 in a few spots most likely due to the rockfall mentioned in the description.

I think I've actually figured out hand jamming finally

Tried to climb as fast as I could with a headlamp 1:19

The hands didn't feel as good today

Definitely want to come back and try to lead this.

I'm really bad at placing gear so my lead was basically a free solo.

A well placed fist jam started to cut of circulation on the back of my hand. Sat back to until the burn/tingling mellowed out

I really want to bolt this at some point. Hard slab moves on razor holds and small high feet.

Did it in two pitches. Andy led up to the mid-station of pitch two then I led the rest

Definitely not a warm-up. If I wasn't feeling tired and lazy I probably could have sent it clean.

Might bring a wire brush next time to clean a few things but this was really fun.

First route of the day. Definitely not feeling great but still sent it.

Led this in one pitch and did a lower off change over at the mid station.

So much fun! There was a bit of water running down one section but it wasn't too bad.

Definitely not 5.8 unless I'm missing something at the topout crux. Also be careful clipping in the crux section I've climbed this 3 times and Z-clipped twice because the blots are really close

Minor route reading error resulted in a foot slip in the upper crux. Pulled back on and sent it easily after.

Jacob's first multi pitch so we took it slow and made sure he knew what he was doing. Still super fun and it got me stoked to see what else is here.

I'm not sure about 5.8 for the pitch 1 grade though. If the Ninnyhammer crux is 5.8 (which I agree with) the crux on this feels more like a 5.7. They're both in a corner but you have a lot more here than you do on Ninnyhammer.

Regardless of the grade this route is awesome and I will be topping out on this everytime I climb the main cliff below.

Always a great top out

Due to some misinterpretation of the guide book I thought this was a mellow 5.8 to finish off a good day. I was soon informed otherwise and I'm stoked I stuck it out. This was super fun and I will be back to send it clean.

I was tired before I pulled on and it was dark so I top-roped it. I will return again.

This could be the best route in the world but when it's wet and dark it was not fun
