Ascents as Tick as trad or sport by Matt Short

Got it this time.

Love this climb. Did a quick pre breakfast raid. Top to Bottom to Tom in just over 3 hours.

Just a quick run on top rope, still feels hard for 19.

More fun than I thought it would be. You can stay away from all the vegetation in the corner.

Forgot to bring across my climbing shoes so did it in approach shoes which made it interesting.

This had some interesting climbing in it and was probably the best finish to Organ Grinder

Great slab route that looks hard from the ground but there are enough holds. Climbs very well.

Used to access the zawn, repeat.

We had an interesting time on this climb.

P1 felt very hard for 18 (probably closer to 20) especially the moves around the diagonal left leaning ledge. We belayed from the same anchors as you use for the rap descent.

P2 looked quite hard up to the first bolt which was about 5m off the belay, managed to put gear in the break and fiddle some interesting gear into a hole before getting to the bolt. There was a fair run out to the next bolt which I didn't see until it was right in front of my face and then I could see no more bolts. I moved up carefully and still didn't see any more bolts or gear so decided to head up what looked like an easy looking ramp to a crack/corner where I hoped there would be gear. Luckly I found some which was nice because I was about 12m run out at this point. I climbed the arete of the corner and turned the small roof before making it to the left hand side of the large cave where I set up a belay with the minimal gear that I had left (only took a small amount as I was expecting bolts). At this point we had a read of the guide and figured that we were at the top of pitch 3 and had somehow skipped a whole pitch.

Last pitch was pretty much as described, traversing out of the sandy cave and crimping on sandy ledges was not fun but we made it to the top in one piece.

A great adventure climb up a sea of rock, just don't come expecting a grade 18 sport climb, think grade 20 trad climb with thought provoking run outs and you will be fine (we found a couple more bolts that we missed on rap but they were fairly hidden).

I did the original route this time as I had done the direct before. There is quite a hard move going up just after you move left onto the original route.

The top pitch is still awesome and hard for what it is.

Climbed this to clean the anchors.

A hard start from some slots up with a long move.

Noce trad corner that actually has some good climbing on it.

Enjoyed the moves through the roof

Really liked this climb, not too hard but had plenty to keep you interested.

Good climb but the gear is quite spaced if you were to lead it.

I probably would not want to lead this on the current bolt placements

Something must have fallen off this as there is no way the crux is 20. The start is a bit sketchy too with no decent gear before the first bolt.

The crux reach was just a bit too much for my height, other than that it was a good route.

Always fun.

This is a great alternative finish to psychopath and a great route in its own right. It is evry bit of 19.

An interesting variation on The Phantom, worth doing.

Taking Susie up this classic. We raised the sun to the top and just about won.

I don't know why but I always seem to do this route when I come here, barefoot this time.

Great route well worth doing again.

We ran this as one pitch, the jamming crack was very interesting climbing and you had to think about your feet a bit.
