Thought I’d have a look so OG could mock me. OS to between 2nd and 3rd but it was a bit warm for the slopey crimps and I couldn’t get any purchase.

hard slopey mantle crux in the sun, no dice.

gets 7a in the Font book, VERY slopey regardless. perhaps a sneaky trick was found for it.

Wow, hard and tall. not as big as La Dalle a Poly but with a shallow mono, some slopey pockets and no feet, you want to be solid.

Last day, buggered and just 10 minutes left before it was time to go. Definitely want to do this one next time, its great.

Had to do it. Did the jump start, held the hold, looked up - laughed and jumped down.

Quick few goes with some crazy Germans. bit warm for the slopers. Great though.

So close, the one that got away! Awesome intense problem, lots of squeezing and tension. Next time

EOD destroyer. Fell getting the feet up high for the crux throw

Stupid to force a 6 by avoiding a ledge.. Why not just say 3 and let it be a nice problem? Doesn't matter anyway as the gaston popped off in my hand on my first attempt.

Getting tired by now, and accidentally tried the wrong problem for a fair few attempts haha. Hard mantle for next time.

had a play immediately after 3rd burn on french connection.. didn't even take my shoes off. probably should have rested though. didnt get far, then I did something to my knee (yes the one ive had surgery on) and it ended my day. walk out from hell..

still a project. bit of a play, sharp holds and a looong jump. prob a 6 or 7 dyno prob?

Slopes were yuck in the sun.

Wowza. small, sharp holds. its hard, but I don't think the finger pain should be confused for difficulty. definitely at least 28 for me though.

Traversed way too low. got lost, it got hard, shit gear, slipped off. 2 bits ripped, 8-10m fall onto my back on the start ledge. Bounce off that onto ground. Used all the luck I had saved to hop away with only a purple heel.

a 'warm down' sat arvo. made it to the vertical kneebar, and my abs fell off my body, and I promptly exited the route. still great fun.

Crux stopped me, and couldnt get to the top this arvo.

Awesome problem, not V4. probably like V1/2. No pads, no chalk, no climbing shoes, backed off at the mantle as to not become a statistic.

Good grief! Went for a look-see.. definitely a rad and great quality strip of rock.. though I only dogged 4 bolts before bailing. Need fresh toes, fingers, muscles, and temperature!

Should have been done this shot, but a rogue crappy hold thought it would be funny to break and spit me off at the top..

3 shots today, pretty smoked 3rd day on but wanted to climb! gear on wailer, across, and up to Final Piece crux.

Clean to Wailers last bolt, quick sit on the rope. then clean til the end of FP crux and pinged off the good rail hold. Then my arms jumped off my body and ran away so I got lowered and went home to rest.

Had a play with Lee while he was working it. Doggedd the crap out of almost half of it. Feels Brilliant, but very hard too! one day.

Had a play on this while Matt had the gear on. despite the first 3 bolts being excitingly spaced on what looks like crap rock, nothing broke off. actually seems quite good, depsite a lack of attention! i was far too tired at the end of the day to even dog up.

mucked up feet, fell off in crux.

another play to try work out some tricks, but it seems you just have to pony up and do the big moves.

Still cant do the crux. Tried a bunch of different ways, including a fist jamb! might be harder than V4, well see. I like it though, and The Black Pearl should be rad too!

Climbed to the crux and back climbed to the ground clean to get draws back for friends at the end of the day. Its just as good as I remembered!

"I am zapped, we should go climb DLR". woops! Really fun in a great position but had no juice to even try real moves. lucky it was well bolted! to last bolt (crux) and came down.

With JJ and Antoine. was fun to have a look at such a classic line. did a couple of the moves, but might take a raincheck for, 5 years or so haha.

Fail. Fell early, had the jitters for some reason. pressuring myself to do it before knee op.

Dirty, one huge throw, then meh. Not a warm up haha. bail!

Had a heap of goes on this, Super hard for V3 unless i had the worst beta ever? hard to commit with only a small piece of plywood for a crash pad and no spot. Great fun though.

Tried to onsight at the end of the day, got to the crux and tried in vain to power through tiny crimps and next to no footers. really fun climbing, exposed and blank face makes for safe whippers. will have another dig for sure!
