Ascents climbed between 2016-7-00 and 2016-12-31 as Red point by Ben Jenga

Holy shit, the best climb I have ever done. Sent first shot of the day even though I felt heavy and had to down climb the top crux for a rest. First 8a

So psyched!! I have always seen people trying this but never thought I would try it myself. This climb really suited my style, big moves between big holds. So surprised to send this second shot.

First shot today

Clipped the anchor from the bad holds, Now for the extension..

Super surprise sent. My rainy day project. Lloyd had the draws up so I gave it a lash and sent second shot. Pushy stem start to blind underclings, catch a breath then power out the woody problem crux and into the roof jugs. I found a heel and toe pocket that saved my failing arns.

Dream route. Felt supringly easy but still had to pull hard to send second shot. I think it helps bring tall with strong fingers.

Awesome to tick this off in the wind and rain today. Did it second shot with the Andy man himself on belay. Cracker long pumper with a tricky start and a crimpy crux half way. 25mins on the wall, jugs for days

Good to take advantage of the cold and wind to get this sent second shot today. Turns out skipping the crux clip is the secret to success.

Awesome endurance route. Got two thirds up on the flash attempt before the pump set in. I was pretty worried about the undercling blocks before the anchours but thankfully found a sneaky rest before the last moves for the second shot send The manky start can be avoided if you find the right Holds. Great route.

More awesome roof jugs. V5 boulder with a couple of clips then join Ghetto just before the knee bar. Not too bad for the grade if you can pump. Second shot.

Hidden gem for sure, pity the very start is quite hard. Still took me 3 shots, the top headwall moves are sequency and sustained but on great rock.. I feel its still solid 26 from the lay down rest.

FFA. Flashed First ascent.. All the hard moves are in the Riot Wing start, get a good rest half way then seek on for bigger holds.. Thanx for gifting me your old project Matt.

I was very keen to clean up this old gem.. Super fun climbing with very involved and sequenced moves through the crux. 4 holds in 4 metres.. Still took 3 shots..

Pretty awesome to finally get a chance to climb the masterpiece routes Pauls has be raving about. After a terrible onsight attempt I fell at the first of three cruxes and just figured out the rest of the moves to the top. Such a long and invoved pitch, pretty rare and special for the mountains. Managed to put it all together second shot thankfully. Go try it while the chalk is fresh.

The route you should do if you like to crimp.. Cosmic crux down low followed by dirty but engaging moves up to a good rest before the finally punchy boulder through the top head wall.. Not as sustained as Life but harder for sure.. Second shot after a good scrub and chalk.

Short and hard. Easy up to the roof then a roof boulder via an edge and blob. Felt pretty hard but changed the beta and sent 3 shot.

Should of been Onsight but I got strung out on the top slopes and missed the good side pull. Clean it up a shot and a half later. The Start sequence still feels like the crux for me. Such fun climbing.

After the Onsight went belly up I was thinking this was a long shot. A bit of beta from Jules and trust in my rubber saw me through the seam start then just hold on to the top. Great routes.

After not being able to figure out the moves last time it was good to get this ticked off today. Cool compact route with some hard pulls and a little runout.

Got my hands mixed up at the crux first lap. Still feel tricky on the send. Sweet little climb, funky style.

Punted it. Got up to the crux, wrote off a crucial hold and got strung out in the never never on crapola holds.. Still felt hard to me on the second shot??

Bam and the whole cliff is ticked. I saved the best to last.. Well not really, its hard, scary and technical. Could do with a couple more bolts and in better positions.

Redefines 23, pretty solid climbing with pumpy and crimping moves to a interesting last move. All this after the reachy V3 boulder at the first bolt.

Was happy to walk away with a dog on this one as the way I was trying the crux was 25+ Thankfully Paul found some slightly easier beta and I sent second shot.. Still hard work for a 3 in my eyes.

Not the warm up we were looking for.. A tad bit easier after a good brush and chalk but no give away..

Finally the pockets are done!! Pretty scary doing the slab at night. So many ways to do this problem and they are all hard.

No bolts at all on this one, still just as easy as the descent gully.

A great easy way to finish a great gramps trip with friends.
