About Arthur Oswald †
Arthur Oswald died on Saturday 14 April 2018 at the age of 83.
We mourn a great climber and man!
As a route setter and first ascentist, as a route rehabilitator and path builder, he shaped climbing in the Danube valley like no other. Always modest and reserved, this is how we will remember Arthur best.
His work and his commitment to climbing in the "Däle" is preserved in his many tours:
