Trad ice cream! Stayed on the rest ledge to the left before the crux perhaps a little too long. Then was able to glide through the crux once committed. Satisfying sequence.

My first attempt at a trad lead! (only building up enough courage to try because of Pete placing a billion pieces of gear for me). I got through the crux move after wasting 10 minutes on the wall trying to commit to the smeary feet. I grabbed the next jug hand only to fall off 5 seconds later loosing all semblance of good climbing form cause of my tired arms. I am majorly stoked to have trusted the gear enough to fall on it. Although I didn't get the send I am proud of doing all the moves none the less. Had a blast and am keen to do more trad now!

Good little climb in the area! Climb does get a bit trickier when you get up to the vertical finger crack. Much easier if you can get a high reach up to jugs to the right of the crack.
