Ascents of St Valentine's Day Massacre

Fell off the gnarly start a few times before I sussed it (if you told me it was gr25, I wouldn't argue) then punched out the route. Proper classic old school climbing on amazing rock. Super improbable techo moves.

Unfortunately, the rebolt done on this is worse than just climbing on the original carrots (not joking). Bring bolt plates!

Clean from second bolt . Bottom moves are harder then anything on nuclear winter . Abit of confusion about whoch bolts to use at the top of this pitch... climbs great, awesome rock.

Tricky balancy start then backs off to the top. Draws were up (thanks Neil!) otherwise would be difficult to clip some of the rings. The old carrots are generally in the right place, bring some bolt plates!

Hard at the beginning....

P1 only. Initially struggled with the NAILS start, then figured it out and climbed clean 2/3rds of the way before failing to see an obvious hold and trying to substitute the move with a dyno (which didn't work so well). Frickin hard start, to varied and interest face climbing, before finishing up a scary arete/corner feature. All on ringbolts now (no gear necessary). Don't get confused by the newly bolted direct finish up the right side of the arete, it's about a 100 times harder. Rad!

Got bent over and spanked on this one Looked really cool but just couldn't figure the start moves?? Well done for getting though paul.
