Ascents in Omega Block as Red point

Climbed this four times today, the mission set was that no jugs were allowed. Once you take away the easy holds it is actually very enjoyable climbing - I had a lot of fun keeping my balance using the less than ideal holds and very small feet chips. Some nice challenging moments.

Second go led to send! Good climb, interesting all the way up

It went with ease, and I was baffled by how much I struggled with it previously. I felt a bit anti-climatic even.

Nevertheless, it is still a beautiful climb, with one of my most memorable jams involving jamming your entire right forearm into a hole behind the flake before the crux. Its like those in the movies where you stick your hand in to activate a hidden switch.

Finally came back and got it. It was still hard haha. Stronger fingers for the finger cams now.

Chose this one for my warmup route and boy was I warm by the end of it!

Really had to turn on the try-hard to get through the spooky crux on this one.

Spend a lot of time at the bottom of the crux not being able to figure out the moves and contemplating a retreat.

Eventually I committed to a hard move on a sweaty hand jam, followed by sequence of loud grunts and swear words.

Was pretty close to peeling off the wall at one point but managed to summon that last bit of send power needed to defeat the Witch.

About time

Almost felt 17 in the prime conditions we had today; a far cry from last time. Clipped the pitons for shiggles but I doubt either would hold a serious fall.

Very happy to tick this, sorted out the feet at the crux, but did stick clip the first 2 draws since I don’t like ground falls

One of those rare moments you float up without realising how you did it

Finally sent this route after two different sessions trying it. Only warming up on a top rope 9, I immediately got flashpump from the 3rd clip. After figuring out good beta last session for the two different cruxes, I found that the biggest hurdle was clipping the 3rd bolt. After that I knew that the rest of the route would come easy enough. I believe this route is sandbagged as I have sent and even flashed other 21's. In addition this could also be because the route is not my style as a lot of the holds feel reachy for me.

Such a plumb line, should be called ‘Hollow screams super direct’! Bagged the send just after Byam K, feels about the same grade as HSD (29)

Messed up the sequence around the third bolt, lowered, and let Cam climb instead. Sent it on my next attempt. It's hard to believe that, when I tried this last year, I had to rest on literally every bolt.

Humbling climb, especially if you haven’t sport climbed for a while. Great line.

Glad I remembered the moves after 7 months, the conditions were excellent!

Feels harder than Slinkin & India, and took many more sessions to tick, 29 seems appropriate

A super fun one. My raw tips would like to add their own message: “bring skin to this climb”

Very very hard to stay out of witch after the old old bolt. But maybe you are meant to go into witch.
