Ascents in Lower cliffline as Hang dog

Absolute bullshit I have to log this as a hangdog. Was above the 4th draw and managed to rip off a bucket jug sending me sideways. Belayer is ok, hold wasn’t crucial, climb still goes. Apart from this, no takes or whips.

That in mind, the climb is still an awesome adventure. About half a dozen mantles, some spicy exposure on the arete, and an abundance of jugs (-1 jug from today)

Nearly, but not enough committed.

Didn’t do it properly and finished on the 25 route

Tough move in the middle. Attempted on lead then top rope - made you earn it! rest were nice moves and mainly yugs

Couldn't get that last move from the shitty sloper across to the jug, ran out of time and was trying in the dark! My idea is to move right earlier and skip the sloper, for next time, some classic moves through awesome pockets

Quite sandy some tough moves but fun techy climbing

The heat was cooking me alive!

For some reason I was expecting an easy first pitch then a harder second pitch, but it's the other way around for this version. The bit shared with VD totally threw me (something something chalk, spooge, loose shoes, surprise sport climbing).

low key groundfall from slipping just before reaching the carrot, on wet feet and soapy hands. got back on but had to aid past the carrot eventually, lowered off the next break for rope gun Nat to take over.

Will definitely come back under better conditions. The lesson of the day was that I really really need to refill my chalk bag.

All one but move clean. Will be back next time for the redpoint. Another stunning 15 min route

Great route. Threw up some draws and figured some beta. Keen to red point this.

Harder crux than I thought from the ground. Will have to try again for the redpoint

Decent and long climb, unfortunately faffed up some footwork near the beginning.

Also right by the exit too so a good climb out and walk out.

The starting move is very height dependent. Otherwise a few interesting moves and a crack to work with too

Great climbing! Took some sits to figure out the moves but made the sensible call to rest the injured pulley and return another day!

This climb is a lot of fun with the exposure, but had to rest on a few of the higher draws due to pump. Felt harder than a 19 to me, even without considering the length of the route.

One of the best climbs around once you get past the first two bolts. Harder than a 19 down below. Too long for me for an onsight attempt.

4 shots at this one. All super close attempts, but failed for a different reason every time, after being sure I had the beta dialled

What an awesome route, have the feeling that Jorge and I were trying a beta a bit harder then it is meant to be, but absolutely classic. Had 4 shots on it, will try again next time

Reacquainting myself with the two finger pocket. Rest of it fine.

Not bad. Cool off the ledge but dodgy fall potential. Up high managed the Move through the final overlap but couldn’t clip next bolt.
