Ascents of Melodrama

The first half near Yanama has some quite tricky moves, especially the first 3 metres. 15 seems sandbagged for that section. It's pretty funny having Yanama wall right there and not putting your foot out, lol. But it's quite a nice section if you don't. Top is easy but nice, great exposure. Very exciting

I think we climbed Yanama to top of the block then belayed second pitch up Melodrama. Technically easy but amazing exposure over the bulges, very pleasant. Great rap

I'm going to call this 16 if you don't touch the Yanama corner. Anything from 12-15 if you do touch it. Took 4 and 5 BD cams which were helpful. Ended up reversing a move and putting a foot in Yanama to rest which was disappointing. Belay is awkward if you are block leading, but might be ok if you were swinging leads. Maybe better to belay on the huge ledge as for yanama. 2nd pitch was superb!! (not 12 though.) Abseil chains at top - 5m to your right 50m abseil.

Had to bridge into the adjacent corner down low. The flaring offwidth was a bit to much for me to resist the temptation. A big cam would help for this.
