Ascents of Three Step

I top roped this today, but recording it as Trad because I didn't note down when I lead it last time.

Pleasant interesting tricky climb. 13 seems really sand bagged. I guessed 15-16, even after having done it 4 times in a few months. Not that I climb many routes in that range, but still.

Some great jamming early on to an easier finish. Great line.

Good start for my first morialta session.

Tricky jam through the bulge, for a 13. Good fun.

Thought a change of scenery, away from the maddening crowds would clear the spook. No such luck. Couldn't put confidence in my jams.

Loved it, well protected and a bold crux for the grade. Having big gear (larger than a #3 BD cam) would significantly change the experience through the third bit. Top out boasts one of the sexiest nut placements I've seen at Morialta.
