Vic and the dog were both really cold so I didn't take any rest after second attempt and tried to fight through the fatigue. It didn't work I also think I underestimated the effect near 0 temps have on my ability to recover on the wall.

Went to redpoint, slipped off the sloper at the top. Lowered and waited a minute and went again, pulled the crux and got the foot up, and then it went from there. It was wet from the rain, probably would have been easier with the full friction when dry.

Someone said this was an 11c and I’d be inclined to agree if only because it is super height dependant for the crux, in this case I had the advantage. Beautiful quality route. Fun to come back and try it after getting chased away by black flies several years ago and forgetting to come back.

A technical start leading to the 2nd bolt. I struggled with the thin, balancy crux between bolts 2 and 3. From there things ease up quite a bit, with another balancy 5.10 move before reaching the anchors. Great route, but I would give it 11c.
