Ascents of The Ground's the Limit

First time I’m failed to onsight or flash a 22 in ages. Pretty stiff, off balance crux. A nice line though, worth a lap.

Flash attempt. Couldn’t find good beta to move back left around the arete after clipping second, after realising Alex’s beta wouldn’t work for me. Also going to 3rd seemed a bit scary so after hanging I stick-clipped it to work the beta. Found a sequence quickly after that.

Easy #2ndGo. Beta worked beautifully and it went with ease. These short technical bouldery climbs are good for me in this grade range.

I like this little puzzle. 7th day on, am wrecked, so managed to get pumped even on this little 3-bolt route 😂

Tricky little number - love it! Felt too bloody knackered today to send it (and spared my mate's rope by not going from last bolt to anchor cuz it's easy over a bulge). Will tick it off with Alexei next week
