Ascents in The Engine Block

Soft, great movement on the arete!

2nd go, pretty soft for the grade

Fun and pumpy moves up the steep face and left arête.

Barefoot, setting up a TR for sis.

In approach shoes, setting up a TR for sis.

Cool into to an outdoor slab

Still good the second time around, the climb to the left of this is a bit more fun

Repeat (climbed it cleanly.)

Fun as, fairly easy after the beginning

Not a fan.

There are 4 climbs on this slab. The one we did towards the right felt like a 14ish

Meh.

Could be the new project!

Dangerous first bolt. I clipped it from the easy route on the left. Felt unclear where to go. I used the arette and stayed on the overhang at all times but its still quite easy to sit on your heels for a rest. I think the effort was around 7a (23-24) and nowhere near a 7b/+. In any case - significantly harder then Lung Starter. Easy to cheat on this route however.

epic route, took 30 mins to work the moves out in the powerful bottom section then just as I was about to jump on torrential rain came in... sandy left without the send but Ill be back to get it
