Ascents in El Cavall Bernat

First and only Montserrat climb. Having had no experience on Montserrat rock, we all found it considerably harder than the grade. There is a learning curve. If leading, then bring some extra cams for the run out sections. Wind gets up pretty strong after 13:00 making rapping off less than straightforward. Great experience, not a technical high grade but don't underestimate it.

This was the standout of the trip and my last climb in Spain for the trip. Totally awesome. Even getting to the base was epic. The 6c pitch was aided but we lead the rest clean. Weather came in as we reached the top and we were raping off in the rain. Finger of god or the cock of satan, you decide?

Wonderful climb. Some tears and lots of pulling on gear, but glad to have done it. The rock and the view are amazing

Great, great climb! Got the full mountain experience. Rain, wind, simul-climbing and watching my rappel line fly at right angles while I rapped the wrong way. DO IT!

Buenísima vía, con aire en los largos fáciles y bien chapadita en los dos duros para poder acerar. Ahora queda volver para encadenarla, aunque será difícil!
