Ascents in McCall

We used a seventy meter rope to combine pitches and did the route in six pitches. I followed For the first 4 pitches and led the last 4 which i linked into two pitches.

Really great longer climb with slabby start to more face and corner climbing above.

Did this route on toprope starting on the slab and then using the fist-to-hands crack to the right of the face climb instead of starting on the normal face climb to the left. The crack peters out after 20 feet or so and then you need to do a tricky traverse to the left to get back the patina face climbing that leads to the anchors. Very fun climbing in a pretty decent crack section.

Classic Face climb. Skip Or protect the Slabby start, its not worth the injury.

A good route. Good 5.8 climbing The whole way. Great view from the anchors.

This is a great route. Very challenging for the grade.

Weird little route with fair amount of rope drag. I did this one in my approach shoes with no problem.

Very long first pitch, close to rope length. Second pitch is short but quite difficult at 5.10c. To avoid this pitch traverse left along obvious ledge and climb a 5.9+ pitch to the top. I give this climb 3 stars because of the long pitch and the incredible scenery more than for the climbing alone. Breathtaking view, and you are likely to see a moose or two below. I led first pitch, Tyler led p2.
