Web-Cover images were way more popular than we expected going from 9 to 150 images in a couple of weeks. In this release we have made Web-Covers more discoverable. For example you can find all worldwide Web-Covers via the photos menu at the top of the page.
Also you may have noticed our new logo slowly making it's way to various parts of the system. It has now made it to our main web system. This is a symbolic milestone because it represents the beginning of a major design overhaul with the system over the coming months.
Finally there was a lot of work done in the API to help the upcoming app sync with the server. While you will not notice any of this work for a while, again it is very important because without it we will not have an app. App should be released in coming months as well.
I needed to know what that was because it looked like it could effect a lot of images for this feature. It took some time to work out the problem and about 2 minutes to fix once I worked it out.
