Shaggy's Route on Tiger Wall

My wife and I did this route yesterday for the first time and I have subsequently edited Will Monk's description. We found the climb very pleasant and not nearly so vegetated as the description had suggested. (I did clean off a bit of veg to enhance user enjoyment somewhat.) My main reason for posting here is to encourage others to get on the route. Our feeling is that if it got more traffic it would continue to clean up nicely and perhaps be worth another star. It's really only a bit of lichen that needs to be worn away to make this quite a classy route. So, whether you're climbing harder and would like an active rest day, or if you're climbing competently at the grade and want a multi-pitch that gives a bit of variety, get on this route.

Is that tree still hanging off that big ledge near the top?

Jimmy replied 8 years ago.

You eyeing up a traverse of the Tree Andrew?

Martin Cummins replied 8 years ago.

Andrew's temporary traverse. Get on it while it lasts.

I've done it already! The route, not the death tree extension...

Doug Bruce replied 8 years ago.

The tree is still hanging there but, sadly, dead as a doornail. I wouldn't want to traverse any of it!

It has been done recently: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MGKAIKysyKU

Different log Jimmy, I didn't know about that one. Looks sketchy!

Ah I hadn't seen the video for a while; I assumed, a faux pas of the current day
