Everything I can think of at Moonarie starts on the ground, sometimes with a little scrambling to get to. There's a 10m ~grade 5 to get up to The Great Wall but it has a fixed line that people just hand-over-hand up. Double ropes can be a good idea if you're planning the longer wandery routes, if you need to bail in a hurry or if you want to climb some of the Ramparts classics that end 40-50m up, eg. The Endless Pitch. For climbs that finish up top, you can walk down the central descent gully or use an abseil station if you can find one. Two ropes are necessary for some abseils.
Just remembered a fun sport climb that is easiest to rap in to: Boltarama (19) in the Northern Crags. Or you can get to it by climbing the first pitch of Tomorrowland, a tough old Moonarie 18 that feels several grades harder than Boltarama.

How do you access the Ramparts?
Do you need to abseil to get to this area or you can just walk from top camp?
