Cleaned gear for Maxwells heroic OS! One blind foot slip and fell but other then that clean. Cool movement

I fell off a lot and then pulled on gear, but still couldn't get to the top. A bad experience tbh. I still think I'm missing the gene for crack climbing

Had to try so hard, what a phenomenal climb

Excruciating and brutal. Got through the first crux into the elephant butt and tried the second crux out of it but decided to bail onto Agamemnon. It was so dark in the elephant butt that I actually couldn't see for a minute and had to adjust. The sun was also going down after spending almost an hour and a half on this route. Relentless climbing. This one's going to be my project for a while to come.

I was cussing, thrashing, almost vomited mid crux, feet were slippin, a thin hand from the wizards guided me out alive. Felt like I worked harder on this than anything else in my life. I couldn't climb anything else that day, and it forced me into an early retirement. But still somehow I managed to thoroughly enjoy it.

Seconding Jacques. Hardly a proud or inspiring line, but it is a worthy challenge that had both of us grunting with effort.

Impressive to see Jeremy onsight this. Had a few sits on second to clean gear and rest. Doesn't feel close.

wind picked up as I was struggling up the second bulge, felt like a true battle with the wizard. epic route.

Got about half of it before ignominiously being hauled the rest of the way so I could clean the route

Good riddance to the wizard. A full body exorcism.

Done in tights hence the clean ascent... but the best style is ground up with a wizard costume. Think I'm ready!

Gizzard of Rice, Lizard of Dice, Blizzard of Mice, but none shall equal the Wizard of Ice. More like a wrestling match than a climb.

Had a difficult time even trying to aid through this one. Utter opposite end of the grade 20 spectrum I've ever been.

Turns out im a muggle. Theres just so many options for how to attack the cruxes and all of them are as whack as eachother. Wasnt really in the hunt for this one but a great wet day lugging a rope around with william showing him how to rap down a traversing route to get gear out and have the struggle of a lifetime.

finally the shut down arrived. after sizing up what did not look as hard as everyone says, i thought my jambing prowess would get me through this one. boy was i wrong. goofed the feet like it was my first crack climb ever and came out, complete with a big ole gobi. rather than put some gloves on in the presence of Mr. Banich, i kindly asked him to retrieve my gear. He sent it no problem, living up to the assurance that of course he would crush this thing and it was not worth our time. Ethan also cleaned it and it is safe to say that my insistence we try this thing was a mistake. sorry Ethan, but also thank you. i'll be back after i nurse my badly bruised ego.

spoiler alert: the shutdown did not bode well for my onsight attempt of squeakeasy 10 minutes later.

Originally aiming to shoot up the unfortunately occupied squeakeasy, we came to this area looking for greener pastures and became the wizards next victims. Seth gave his (and most people's?) antistyle a galant lead, which quickly devolved into aid climbing past two mean sections. I was keen for a lash on second and by golly was this a treat. Much thrutch, much "how is my foot still on that piece of shit footer!?", many karate chops and a couple sits later all the moves had been done, just don't ask me how! My excitement to feel jugs at the end was like reuniting with a childhood pet!

Seconding Lee in the dark. Still so outrageous good.
