Kinda cool, bouldery crux at the start. 1 star seems appropriate

Very nice, varied, "old-fashioned" climbing up the corner of the first pitch. We kept up the line of the corner on the top pitch to avoid a queue and that was as good.

This route has been on my mind since I first saw the legendary photos. It was a privilege to hop on and live out a climbing fantasy. Getting to the roof, I found myself increasingly intimidated and fluffed the beta on the traverse to the lip, requiring a sit. On the next attempt, I committed and pulled through, power screaming at the top of my lungs. Yes, it is as good as everyone says

On the backs of fallen Kachoong-rades and drenched in beta spray, the moves up the face came as they do in dreams. Many minutes passed resting before launching out into the glorious roof, monkey mode at full steam. A swift heel toe cam and the continued support from Kachoong-rades nipped the thought of cutting loose for a piccie, and pushed me through the lip! The real Kachoong is the friends we make along the way

Wouldn’t be mad if they added an extra bolt before the anchors. There’s a no hands rest before the crux which makes it much easier.

Took a fall on first attempt traversing out through the crux. A better hand sequence got me through on the second attempt from the thread.

Seconding James. What a line. It was going well until I arrived in the corner and surveyed the crimp rail, the steepness, and the potential swing. Had a take at the thread and then campused, inelegantly, across. So much harder than Kachoong, but absolutely mega.

Some stuck wires await the next ascenders.

The stuff of dreams. Did not have my feet sorted for the quest to the lip and took a small whip. Re grouped and turned the lip with no fuss immediately after.

Figured it out, just need to pull a little harder to get the tick.

Yewww. Need to refine a little more. Almost went 3rd go today. Learning the beta was fun.

Getting out of Anus. Fun.

So fun, will be back. Took a little to figure out which way the route went.

Got spanked, took multiple big whips, couldn't pull the crux. Would do again, loads of fun.

Scary traverse!!

Sustained pump management with good gear. I liked this. Felt close to the ground all the time so I placed a lot.

Some awkward beta through the lower corner, but moves throughout the rest were otherwise a delight. Impressive lead by Josh, I would have been squirming. Good composure.

Superb. Happy with how I climbed this, not as long as I was expecting. Crux moves provoke thought and commitment. Ripper. Thanks for following on this Josh.

Clipped the chains this time! So sick. Did all the moves but one which apparently isn't a crux for anyone else 🤔
